certificates etc., Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (Exempted for SC/ST and PwD candidates) in favour of “Director,
IHBAS”. Upper age limit is relaxable for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes and PWD
candidates as per rules. However, OBC certificate issued by the Authority of Delhi Govt., only will be accepted.
Institute reserves the right to increase/decrease, fill or not to fill any/all the vacancies.
The Assessment Promotion Scheme (APS) is applicable at IHBAS. The Revised APS (on the pattern of NIMHANS,
Bengaluru) has been approved in Principle. The modalities of implementation of it are being worked out currently.
Assistant Professor for Non-Medical disciplines will carry same Pay Matrix Level at par with Medical professional
except NPA. Allowances will be as per Rules.
Age Relaxation of 5 years will be applicable for Government employees as per GOI guidelines.
The application duly filled-in along with necessary documents must reach to the Office of Director, IHBAS within 30
days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News. The applicant who is in service of
Central Govt./State Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body shall have to submit his/her application
through proper channel along with ACR dossier of last five years, Vigilance Clearance and Integrity Certificate. A
certificate from the employer is also required to be submitted that in case of his/her selection his department will be
relieved him/her to join IHBAS.

1. A Medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or Part II of the III schedule of the Indian Medical
Council Act of 1956. (Candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the III Schedule
should also fulfill the conditions specified in the Section 13(3) of the Act.
2. DM in Neurology i.e., requisite recognized specialization qualification in the subject or a qualification
recognized equivalent thereto.
1. A Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act of
1956.
2. A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the
respective discipline/subject.
And/or
M.Ch. for surgical and D.M. for medical superspecialities or qualification recognized equivalent
thereto.
A. Experience: (For General Disciplines): 03 years teaching/research experience in a recognized
institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS or qualification
equivalent thereto.
B. Experience: (For Superspecialities Disciplines): 01 year after obtaining M.Ch./D.M. or qualification
recognized equivalent thereto.
Desirable: Research/published work in Indexed Journal.
Experience: 03 years teaching/research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the
doctorate degree.
Experience: 03 years teaching and /or research experience in a recognized Institution/hospital in the
subject of specialty after obtaining Doctorate Degree
Desirable: Research/published work in the Indexed Journal.

Information to the Candidates
1. Prescribed application forms complete in all respect must reach to Office of Director, IHBAS or
before 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News.
2. Candidate applying for the posts mentioned in the advertisement may sent application along
and enclose a Demand Draft/Pay order for Rs.1000/- in favour of Director, IHBAS, Delhi
(Exempted for SC/ST & PwD candidates). The fee is non refundable.
3. The cut off date for age, qualification experience etc. will be the last of receipt of
applications.
4. The application form shall be summarily rejected in case it is found incomplete in any
respect or is not accompanied by fee of appropriate value described above.
5. Institute reserves the right to increase/decrease, fill or not to fill any/all the vacancies or
cancel the advertisement for any of the above mentioned post (s), without assigning any
reason thereof.
6. Upper age limit is relaxable for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward
Classes and PwD candidates as per rules. In case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD Category, the
applicant should be in possession of appropriate certificate issued by Competent Authority.
However, OBC certificate issued by the Authority of govt. of NCT, Delhi, only will be
accepted. The candidate should furnish the relevant OBC certificate which should
specifically include the clause regarding “Exclusion from creamy Layer” in order to get age
relaxation.
7. Please send attested copies of all degree/diploma certificates, category certificate along-with
mark-sheet/grade/credit/transcripts and will be age as per High School certificate etc. as
may be necessary.
8. Out of above 17 posts, 03 posts are reserved for Pwd Category.
9. The applicants are also requested to clearly mention in the Application Form whether he/she
wishes to apply for COE or for IHBAS or for Both. In case he/she opts for both, it will be
discretion of the Selection Committee to select him/her for IHBAS or COE.
