PRESENT SIMPLE

S + verb (+-S he, she, it) S + don’t/doesn’t(he, she, it) + verb Do/does(he, she, it)+ S + verb?
Ex: I play cards.
Ex: I don’t play cards. Ex: Do I play cards?
He plays cards
He doesn’t play cards Does he play cards?
Frequency adverbs: usually (normalmente), always (siempre), often ( a menudo), never
(nunca), sometimes (a veces), hardly ever (casi nunca), seldom (rara vez).
WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!!!)
Frequency adverb + verb.
Ex:Bart always does stupid things.

Verb to be + frequency adverb.


Ex: Bart is always happy
RULES TO ADD -s
Verbs ending in –h, -s,-o, -x and -z
)

Add -es
Wash: washes.
Go: Goes
Verbs ending in consonant +y)

-y changes to –i and add es


Cry: cries
Fly: flies
