Definition: A customer is someone who buys goods or
services, especially from a shop.
8. Customs: Aduana
Definition: Is the official organization responsible for
collecting taxes on goods coming into a country and
preventing illegal goods from being brought in.
9. Customs bróker: Agente de Aduanas.
Definition: A person whose job is to assist businesses in
clearing imported or exported goods through customs
10. Full container load: Contenedor lleno de Carga
Definition: Is an ocean shipping term wherein the shipper
has cargo adequate to fill a full container.
11. Free trade agreement: Tratado Libre Comercio.
Definition: A free trade agreement is a pact between two
or more nations to reduce barriers to imports and exports
among them.
12.Freight: Carga de Pago.
Definition: Cargo consists of bulk goods transported by
water, air or land.
13.Global freight forwarder: Agente de Carga Mundial.
Definition: Is a person or company that organizes
shipments for individuals or corporations to get goods from
the manufacturer or producer to a market, customer or
final point of distribution.
14.Gross weight: Peso Bruto.
Definition: Total weight of an article inclusive of the
weight of the container and packaging.

Definition: Are terms that are used in purchase-sale
operations between companies from different countries.
16.Insurance: Seguro.
Definition: Is an arrangement in which you pay money to a
company, and they pay money to you if something unpleasant
happens to you, for example if your property is stolen or
damaged, or if you get a serious illness.
17. International fair: Feria Internacional.
Definition: It is a meeting held annually, generally lasting a
week, in which companies or entities of the same commercial
activity exhibit their products and services.
18.Fair trade: Comercio Justo.
Definition: It is an alternative form of trade promoted by
various NGOs, by the United Nations Organization and by
social and political movements that promote a voluntary and
fair trade relationship.
19.Letter of credit: Carta de Crédito.
Definition: It is a means of payment issued by a
solvent entity, generally a bank.
20. Invoice: Factura.
Definition: It is a commercial document that reflects all the information of a
sale and purchase operation.
21.Profit: Beneficio Económico.
Definition: Is a term used to designate the benefits obtained
from an economic process or activity.
