Dany and Javier discuss their dream holiday plans of visiting three cities in Europe over 10 days. They decide to visit Paris, Venice, and Rome, staying 3 days in each. They plan to fly from Lima to Italy and travel between the cities by plane. They will stay in hotels to save money. b. Talk to a partner. What do you like doing on holiday? try to find some things you have
in common.
Dany: In my vacations I like to travel to the city where my parents and relatives are, but I
would also like to know other cities, I would like to know some countries in Europe,
especially the country of Italy. So, if I´m going to know a country, it would be Italy
because it would be interesting and very cool.

Javier: I would like to know most of the tourist centers of my country, but it would be
interesting to travel to other countries of the European continent, to know Spain, France,
Italy, Greece.
I would especially love to know Italy, I would like to know its people, gastronomy, its
tourist centers, its universities, libraries, to know how advanced they are in technology
know its history.

c. With your partner, plan a dream trip. You are going to visit three cities in the same
continent. Your holiday can be a maximum of ten days. Answer the questions
1. What cities are you going to visit?
We´re going to visit the cities of Paris, Venice and Rome
2. How long are you going to stay in each city?
We´re going to stay 3 days in the city of Italy
We´re going to stay 3 day in the city of Venice
We´re going to stay 4 days in the city of Rome
3. How are you going to get there?
First, we will be going to the city of Lima, from there we will take a plane to the country
of Italy, we will start our trip from the city of Paris, then we will be going to Venice, and
finally we will be going to the city of Rome.
4. Where are you going to stay?
We´re going to stay in hotel in each city, because we have to save to be to visit much
more places
5. What are you going do in each place?
We have planned to visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the canals of Venice, and the Roman
Colosseum.
d. Change partners. Tell each other about your holiday plans.

We´re going to Europe, to Paris, Venice, Rome. We´re going to stay in a hotel, because
we aren´t going to spend a lot of time in each city. first, we´re going to go to know the
city of Paris, we´re very interested in knowing the Eiffel tower, because it is very
interesting, in Paris also the and great; In Paris we will also go to see the Notre Dame
cathedral, because its gargoyles attract a lot of attention. After 3 days we will go to know
the canals of Venice, because it is well known in the world, we would also like to know
its architecture, its churches and also try their food. After spending 3 days in the city of
Venice, we´re going to go to the city of Rome, there we´re going to visit the Roman
Coliseum, because it is a very important place in history. We are also going to visit the
Vatican, since it is a place where the Pope resides. We are also going to visit the basilica
of San Pedro because it is the most important religious temple
e. Do you prefer your new partner´s plans? Would you like to change partners and go with
him/her?

Dany: Yes, I like my partner´s plans. because we are going to see very interesting places
and I would not like to change partners because it will be fun.
Javier: it is interesting to work with someone with whom you meet with the same plans and later
I would like to continue working with the same partner.
