BeingfromaneducationalinstitutionthatfollowsthestandardizedSSCcurriculum,I
havebeenexpos•5toalearningenvironmentwhichencouragesonetofindpractical
solutions to real-world problems. Influenced by this, I found myself enjoying the
process of solving complex mathematical problems in the advanced math courses.
Being an imaginative kid from an early age I used to try to find ways to apply the
materialIlearntinclassintoareal-worldsetting,whichgavemegreatjoy.Moreover, due
to my interest in math, I ended up taking the math-heavy curriculum instead of
thebiology-heavyoneinmyhighschool,whichofferedmethetoolsneededtoexcel
intheComputerScienceandEngineeringcoursesinmyundergraduatestudies.

With a natural aptitude for Science & Mathematics, coupled with a sharp sense of
classXIan.dXII.Mycapacityformeticulousworkhelpedmesecureanoverall9.2
CCrPA, being among top 10% ot the class. I secured myseif a seat in Computer
Science and Engineering in one of the reputed colleges in India at Gudlavalleru
EngineeringCollege.MyundergraduateyearsatGudlavalleruEngineeringCollege
have helped me to identi my interests and develop the necessary knowledge and
skillstopursuethem.ItwasduringthistimeIhavedevelopedaninterestinOperating
Systems,ComputerNetworks,Databasemanagementsystem,Distrii›utedSystems,
Information Access and Security and Artificial Intelligence. My journey towards
achievingmygoalsstartedhere.Mydedicationandinterestforthesubjectshelpedme
tosecuredistinctionthroughoutmycollegestudieswithanaggregateof8.99CCrPA,
which helped me to stand among the top 10% of the class. Further, my exposure to
programminglanguagesC,Java,Python,MYSQLlaidasolidfoundationinvarious
aspectsofcomputersciencethatwillbenecessarytoexcelingraduateschool.
To understand the practical aspects of my undergraduate program, I have
pursued quite a few projects. One such project was “STUDENT INFORMATION
SYSTEM”.Asapartofthisproject,anStudentinformationS“ystemisdevelopedin
JAVA and FILES with the aim is Student Registration. In Student Registration
module we need to Add a Stu.dent Record, Deleting Student Records, Modifying a
StudentRecord,DisplayinglistofStudentsRegisteredinacollegeoruniversity.My
Third vear undergraduate project, “PERMISSION APPROVAL SYSTEM”.
PERMISSION APPROVAL SYSTEM is developed in HTML, CSS, JDBC and
JSP.In this project my role is Employee module. In employee module we request a
leavetoleaderandherequesttomanager.Inemployeemodulewegivelogindetails
andwhatpurposehecanleaveandwegiveFromdatetotodateandhowmanydays he
requestleave.
 My final year undergraduate project, “An IOT Based Smart Shopping
Cart for Smart Shopping” (Soon to be published in. SCOPUS).The main aim is to
satis“tythecustomerandalsoreducethetimespentonthebillingprocesswhichisto
completethebillingprocessinthetrolleyratherthanwaitinginaqueueevenforone or two
products. Tb.e customers have to add the products after scanning their pre-
recharged cards. Whenever the customer acidsa product, its price will be
displayedonanLCDscreenanditsamountwillbedeductedfromthecard.Afterthe
shoppingiscompletethebillwi!!besentasamailtothecustomer.Seeingtangible results
for each of these live projects was very motivating for me, and further siimul-
ntedarimterestinritetostudyComputerScienceingreaterdepth.

Alongwiththeseprojectspartofmycurriculumofstudy,aftermyfourth
semesterinmysumm.erbreak.Iwentontointernat“ECIL-ElectronicCoporationof
India Limited” where Worked on Android AppDevelopment.

AlthoughIhavedevotedequaltimeandattentiontoallsubjectswithinthepurview
ofComputerScience,onetopicwhichhascaughtmyfancyistheInternetofThings (ICiT).
I have hence opted Internet of tiñngs as my specialization. Personally , Iam
extremely fascinated by IOT innovations that have already hit the market, be it
transmittinginformationaboutsoilmoistureandnutrientstoagriculturalexperts;IOT
alarm systems providing security to home owners; monitoring activity levels and
provide feedback on heart rate andrespiration; to name a few. With its vast
applications,it•xouldbeinterestingtounderstand/studythesecurityimplicationsof IOT.
Apartfromacademiclife,Iparticipatedinseveralco-curricularactivities.To
startwith.IwasapartoftheorganizationofaNationa!LevelTechno-Management test
SAlviYAK’, and a college test especially conducted by our university for
Computer Science and Engineering students known as ‘IGNITE’. NSS Volunteer
actively participated in volunteering to social activities like blood donations, GIS
mapping, plantation etc. Being a part of these initiatives helped me enhance my
communicationskills,andorganizationalskills.Ihavealsobeenapartofworkshops
which were conducted on Web Designing, Modei-Driven Engineerin.g & Software
development.
