Serves 6
Ready in 50 mins, plus cooling
200g unsalted butter, softened,
plus extra for greasing
3 medium eggs, at room temperature
75g caster sugar, plus extra for dusting
60g self-raising flour
3tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
400g icing sugar, plus extra for dusting
50g milk chocolate, melted
Chocolate curls (see tip) and chocolate
mini eggs, to decorate

1 Preheat the oven to 220°C/gas 7. Grease


a 20cm x 30cm Swiss roll tin and line
with baking paper.

2 Using an electric mixer, beat the eggs


and caster sugar in a bowl for 5 mins or
until pale and thick. Sift over the flour
and cocoa powder, and gently fold in
