Program 1. Students will learn the "life of a case" (i.e. beginning up to the end).
Outcomes 2. Students will learn the basic skills and steps in preparing a case;
3. Students will learn the relation between facts and the law involving
a case
4. Students will understand the connection between substantive law
and procedural law.
5. Students will learn basic litigation skills and techniques and acquire
knowledge in preparing effective and valid pleadings, information,
motions, papers to be filed in case of appeal and other papers to be
filed in court in connection with the different kind of actions.
6. Students will experience the steps in the litigation of a case in court
until its termination.
7. Students will learn to imbibe and observe ethics in dealing with
clients, oooonents, fellow members of the Bar and the Bench.
Course Credit 2 units

Course The course introduces the students to the steps in the preparation of

office in connection with the different kind of actions. The course
initiates the students to the actual steps and procedure In the
prosecution of a case from preparation, filing, pre-trial, trial, appeal

Grading Class Standing = 60%; Midterm/Final Exam =40%

Midterm Grade = 60% (Class Standing)+ 40% (Midterm Exam)
Final Term Grade = 60% (Class Standing)+ 40% (Final Exam)
Final Grade = 40% (Midterm Grade)+ 60% (Final Grade)
