First off, this is the most beautifully crafted Batman film to date, and quite frankly,
the best overall crafted superhero movie to date. The cinematography is flawless,
the score is terrifying, grand, haunting, and the performances from the entire cast
were top-tier.
This one is dark, violent, brooding, terrifying, and possibly insane. He clearly has
PTSD and is rage, misery, fear, vengeance, and hope embodied in one person, and I
couldn’t get enough.
A special mention to Paul Dano too. His Zodiac killer-like taking on the Riddler made
the movie feel legitimately horrifying and contributed significantly to the tension. Zoe
Kravitz was phenomenal as Catwoman and made the character feel traitorous and
constantly switched sides depending on her judgement of a situation.
While I say all this, the second act fell off a bit. It felt bland and dry in terms of action, and scenes that I felt had a lot of promise didn’t live up to its
expectation. For example, there’s a particular scene in the movie that was heavily marketed but didn’t live up to its expectations; the film could have used
some of Batman’s iconic interrogation tactics too. Catwoman’s Annika goal also felt a bit ridiculous and unnecessary and could have easily been
removed without causing any damage to the film.
However, this “Batverse”'s potential in terms of the interpretations of characters and world-building potential excites me beyond compare.

A century ago, Marie Curie and Pierre Curie coined the term radioactivity and set in motion a cascade of discoveries and uses
of the elements she and her husband worked tirelessly to isolate. She was one of the monster minds that defined one of the
20th century’s most significant discoveries- radium and polonium and won a Nobel Prize in physics in 1903 with her partner –
cum – lover Pierre Curie.
In this book, Susan Quinn explores historical accounts of the fascinating journey of persistent teenager Marie. The latter
learned science by herself while working as a governess when women weren’t expected to do more than the bare minimum.
Besides her genius, her dedication to radioactivity after her initial discoveries led to a second stand-alone Nobel Prize in
chemistry in 1911, the first person to be awarded two Nobel prizes. The accounts of the background of her family, country,
defeats, and successes in a difficult era for women are the foundation of one of the most influential women in history, known as
Madam Curie.

A Gentleman in Moscow
When you read a book, how often can’t you just get enough of the action or drama that the author fails to build up
in the book? Well, this is the perfect book for those who are looking for a little of everything.
The novel, set in the bolshevik era, starts with the perfect blend of a comical yet thought-provoking discussion
between the Russian tribunal and the Count. Why? Well, the count was being trialled for writing a poem! A simple
poem that a gentleman like him described as a necessity of society had now sparked a feeling of revolt within the
hearts of many fellow Russians and had caused the Russian tribunal to doubt the Count’s loyalties.
The story progresses as we see the Count serve an unusual punishment to atone for his actions. The novel opens
one’s mind and makes one think whether life without money might be the richest of all. It also makes us question
our perception of family and what we hold dear to our hearts and think about other important aspects of life.
The book might start a little slow, as it takes time for the story to build up and hook you to it. However, once the
novel begins picking up some pace, the reader automatically starts connecting the dots and realises the sheer
brilliance of this book. The best part is that it makes you understand how the smallest of actions can impact your
life and those around you.
However, keeping that in mind, I would not recommend this book to those who like fast-paced and action-packed
books. This book may not serve its purpose then. It is a simple idea brilliantly narrated.
I hope that people enjoy this book and appreciate the Author’s genius.

This song is from the movie Zootopia, which follows the story of a bunny chasing her dreams to
become the first-ever bunny cop. The piece depicts the spirits fighting and trying when it feels like our
back is against the wall. It motivates us not to give up, keep giving our best, not be afraid of wishing,
and in the end, never ceasing to try everything. It’s not only bringing out our childish, full-of-spirits
minds but also inspiring us by reminding us that a miracle is another name for hard work. It also
reminds us that efforts will never betray us as long as we try and act on them.
This song tells us that we won't understand the essence of joy without ever feeling the pain. Likewise,
we won't understand the true meaning of victory without ever experiencing defeat, and it won't exist
without the process of struggling and working hard for it.
In the process of trying itself, we learn to like a human. Yes, we may not succeed at once. Yet what
defines ourselves is to know what we did wrong and give another shot until we grow.
The studio played the song for the first time in the scene where Judy Hopps has just become a police officer and is beginning to face the struggles of
being a bunny cop. The song plays here to show that everybody should “Try Everything” and that eventually, it will pay off in the long run. This relates to
the modern-day struggle people face when they have a new job or start their own business. The song can connect the same to the struggles of a woman,
considering how the bunnies were considered to be weak and a type of animal that isn’t capable of doing intense police work like the more significant
and more robust animals. This same ideology is found in modern society when specific jobs aren’t “made for women”.
