Due to Namespace Interface certification process together with SAP, we can send the installation packages
as Add-On installation package or Request. However, at the moment we are only using the Request
option.
Last global request generated of installation and/or update.
The Installation and Update packages of the Interface Namespace SAP DW will now be made available
through the new Platform, through the link created in the Help Center present in Mastersaf DW in the

Obs.: Regarding request (1), the same has been updated (monthly patches). Therefore, when Thomson
Reuters Mastersaf sends the request (1) to the customer, it can be another one.

Dear client,
For those who intend to update the package SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 8 environment, we have verified that this
update has, as a standard internal procedure, the exclusion of all the constant objects in SAP area of
ECC6.0 environment. That includes the standard objects of Thomson Reuters INTEFACE NAMESPACE.
The customized objects that were developed in the interface from the EXITs offered by Thomson Reuters
are also excluded in this process.
In order to upload again the interface program in the environment, please follow the procedures bellow:
Important: This exclusion procedure occurs exclusively with the EHP 8 package. For the other scenarios,
please disregard this announcement.
Procedures for Interface Namespace MSAF DW objects/fonts recovery to update the SAP ECC 6.0 - EHP8
environment.
1. Before starting the SAP environment migration, access the /n/ migration transaction and perform
the interface parameterization backup (download). For more details, consult Manual 5

2. Recover the Interface Namespace DW package fonts by updating the environment with the last
package sent of the Interface Namespace MSAF version;
3. please ask for the environment customization
request reapplication;
4. Through the /n/ migration transaction, select all the tables to make it available again the
parametrization with the option Upload all backup tables (backup file performed on step 1). For
more details, consult
Thomson Reuters recommends that all customers keep their MASTERSAF DW / TAX ONE product
environments always up to date with the latest patch release available. This good practice ensures the
compliance and the use of the new features e improvements available.

Since Namespace integration has a set of extremely distinct and protected objects, we assure that conflicts
with other application or integration version from Thomson Reuters Mastersaf itsel will NEVER exist. This
allows the possibility to install and maintain both integrations in the same SAP environment to validate
and compare results, facilitating the validation process so that you can fully migrate to the latest version.
If the customer has specific customization in the previous integration. These will be developed following
the new Namespace Interface customization concept, if needed. There are no means to simply transport
the customization in the same way, since the integration structure and architecture are distinct.
