“Si Kaloy”

Si Kaloy usa ka malipayong bata


Paborito niyang kan-on ang kalabasa
Suot niya ang iyang kalo sa ulo.
Nagbitbit sa gamay nga kaldero.
Samtang namupo og kamatis ug kapayas.
Ang kalipay sa iyang dagway dili mapanas.
After reading the story, the teacher willl ask the
following questions.

 Who is the boy in the story? Si Kaloy


 What is his favorite to eat? kalabasa
 What is on his head? kalo
 What did he harvest in the garden? kamatis og kapayas
 Where did he put his harvest? kaldero

All these words starts with what letter?

What is the sound of letter Kk? /k/
Very Good!
The sound of letter k is /k/ /k/ /k/ /k/
Its your turn to produce the sound of letter K /k/ /k/ /k/ /k/

Let’s look back to the picture/word that starts


with letter Kk with the sound of /k/ and repeat
after me

and lets trace it to make letter K using marker

( the teacher will distribute an activity paper )

Lets do this! Follow after me


To make letter Kk, First is lets make a vertical
line from blue to blue. Second, make a slanting
line going to the left lets start at upper blue line
to red line. Third make another slanting line
going to the right starts at the red line to blue
line.
Lets proceed to the lower case

First is lets make a vertical line from blue to


blue. Second, make a slanting line going to the
left lets start at the red line to the middle of red
and blower blue line . Third make another
slanting line going to the right starts at middle
of red & lower blue line.

D. Enrichment Activity
Let the pupils make letter Kk using dough
(The teacher will provide dough to the pupils)
