Wavin AS+ is the successor to Wavin AS – providing 'best in class'

sound insulation and new product features to make installation
even easier and future proof.

Wherever low noise in discharge pipework (soil and rainwater

applications) is a design requirement, the new Wavin AS+ Push-
fit Acoustic System is an efficient, practical and cost-reducing
solution.

Wavin AS+ provides the option of a Low Noise or No Noise

System as per Fraunhofer Institute of Building Physics test
report 2019. Its mineral-reinforced molecular material and unique
bracketing system can absorb airborne, structural and impact
sound.

Installation is fast and easy which saves time and cost, especially
compared with traditional sound insulating techniques such as

Below Ground Drainage

The Wavin Below Ground Drainage System is available in 110mm,
160mm, 200mm, 244mm, 250mm and 315mm. PVC-U
underground gravity drains and sewer fittings are suitable for use
in conjunction with WavSpec SN4 & WavSpec SN8 pipe and
Wavin chambers for domestic and public sewerage and drainage.

WAJ 110 Inspection Chambers comply with the following

AquaCell Eco is manufactured from specially reformulated,
recycled material and has been specifically designed for
shallow, non-trafficked, landscaped applications. AquaCell Eco
is NOT suitable for locations subject to high water tables.

AquaCell Eco is typically suitable for installations to a maximum

Introduction to SafeTech RCn

Wavin SafeTech RCn is a coextruded two-layer pipe with
protective properties, made from PE 100-RC materials. The
acronym “RC” in the name PE 100-RC stands for “resistance
to crack” and describes the resistance of a pipe material to
slow crack growth. The outer signal layer, which makes up
approximately 10% of the pipe wall thickness, is coloured
according to the medium that is to be transported.

SafeTech RCn is a PE 100-RC pipe that not only complies with

European standards, but also satisfies the minimum requirements
of the German PAS 1075 (publicly available specification).

Standard Dimentional Ratio (SDR): The Standard Dimension Ratio (SDR) is used to describe the relationship between pipe diameter,
wall thickness and therefore the pressure rating of the pipe. The relationship between the pipe OD and the wall thickness remains
constant for all pipe sizes for a given pressure rating, and can be expressed in the following equation:

Key Approvals and Standards

All Wavin products are manufactured under a quality management system accredited to
EN ISO 9001: 2000 (certificate No. FM00217) and which is listed in the BSI Register of
Assessed Capability. Wavin pressure Pipe systems have all the relevant approvals where
applicable.

Important Note:
All Wavin Electrofusion Fittings have pin size 4.0mm. For use with UK Electrofusion
machines, 4.7mm adaptors may be required. EF pins or EF LED Adaptors.

Wavin Electrofusion stub flanges are not supplied with backing rings/flanges. These items
need to be ordered separately.
