LEARNING Explain fossil records, comparative anatomy and genetic information provide

OBJECTIVE 1. Identify the effect of gene mutation on the evolution of the species.

3. Analyze their significance in evolutionary history.

B. Group Activity
Group 1: The Sci-investigators
The teacher will ask the group to investigate and study the evidence of evolution by
performing the “Activity 2-I CAN SEE YOU”.
Group 2: The Sci-Broadcaster
The teacher will provide an article about evidence of fossils. Ask the group to present
the activity in a TV broadcast.
Group 3: The Sci-Watchers
The teacher will provide a video clip of comparative anatomy and ask the students to
make a video analysis of the differences between Homologous and Analogous
structures, and Vestigial Structures.
Group 4: The Sci-Editors
The teacher will provide pictures of the embryo of different animals and ask the
students to make a collage of these pictures with proper captions.
