1. As a student, how can you promote Nationalism?
1. Study the history of your country, know-how, and where your ancestors came from.
Know the hardships your country has experienced and the great actions done by them to
solve their problems. This would help you know where your ancestors came from and
how your country came to be.
2. Show willingness to learn about your country’s culture and practices. Respect them
and be happy to practice them. This is important because to show that you love your
country you have to appreciate the most practiced thing in the country and that is the
culture of the people.
3. Respect the national anthem and sing it with pride, make sure that you really mean all
the words you are saying. The national anthem is one of the unique things every country
has and if you don’t sing it properly how is that showing care for your country.
4. Learn to speak your own language, yes... English is the most dominant and used
language but you shall never forget your native language. Your language is something
only people in your country understands. It’s very unique and is also one of the
distinctive characteristics of every country.
5. We should adore everything made in the Philippines and learn to promote it and
share it with others. We should be proud that we have our very own local movies, tv
shows, movie stars, singers, printed books, and many more. This is something that we
can share with others and let them experience what it is like in the Philippines.
1. Give one officially recognized national symbols of the Philippines and its
representation.
The Philippine national gem is called “Philippine Pearl”. There’s a certain pride that
pearls give the wearer. Pearls evoke elegance and distinction. They are a source of
incomparable joy. In the Philippines, the Golden South Sea Pearl or the Philippine Pearl
is a national gem. This highly prized wonder of nature from our tropical shores
symbolizes the embodiment of the country’s tradition and culture. The passing of
decades has documented the majestic presence and relevance of the pearl as this
precious gem is deeply rooted in the heart of the nation’s history.
Servanthood. The PNP value a supportive and professional role to serve and protect their
clientele and the community with sincerity, utmost devotion, and dedication above personal
interest as we affirm our unconditional service and love for our country and people.
Excellence. The PNP commits to do and make things happen effectively and efficiently in all
their endeavors as they strive to achieve more with tangible results and far exceeding their best
consistently and outstandingly.
Responsibility with Accountability. The PNP perform and accomplish their assigned duties and
tasks as serving the public with due diligence is our moral obligation and always bearing in mind
that they are answerable and duty-bound to promote the interest of the public.
Valuing People and Respect for Human Rights. The PNP uphold the dignity of their
fellowmen at all times whenever they cater to their needs and be sensitive and cautious as to
serve and protect them with compassion and utmost respect for their human rights.
Integrity. The PNP takes an uncompromising and consistent stance to live an honest, upright,
and dignified life in the performance of their duty in accordance with the highest ethical and
moral standards where their advocacy, beliefs, and convictions are consistent with their words
and actions.
Courage. The PNP draw their collective and individual strength of attitude from their moral
fortitude to always accept challenging tasks, and bold enough to speak out and stand firm against
temptation, anomalies, corruption, and exploitation.
Empowerment. The PNP reach out and build bridges of cooperation, nurture volunteerism and
work harmoniously together with their clientele by capacitating people in the process for a better
and safer community.
