Directed Art Mouse 1 grey rectangle 4 inches by 5 inches for body 1 gray rectangle 2 inches by 1/2 inches for whiskers 1 pink rectangles 3 inches by 1 inch for ears 1 black square inch by inch black 5 inches of gray yarn for tail 2 googly eyes 1. Round the corners of the gray body so you have an oval. 2. Fold the pink piece in half and round the corners so you have 2 ovals when you a re done. Cut on the fold if needed. 3. Round the corners of the black nose. 4. Attach the ears and nose, 5. Cut the small rectangle into three 2 inch pieces for whiskers and glue on the back of the nose. 6. Attach googly eyes and tail.

Illustrate each part of the rhyme by lifting the flap and drawing what is on the front flap. This idea comes from the Evan Moor Literature Pockets Nursery Rhymes Book.
