Hob
Restore all the waterways - South Path
Return to the Fast Travel station by the Reservoir in the northeast corner of the map. The second waterway proceeds south from this spot.
Go to the southern cliff face and drop down onto the orange pipes to the south below the cliffs. Carefully make your way down the pipes until you can see a
lake down below. You've been here before, but the lake bed was dry. Now with water in the lake, you can just hop on down into the water.
Swim to the south side of the lake and you'll find a ledge where you can exit the water onto a path running along the south side of the lake. Go west along
the path. At the far end, drop down onto another orange pipe that continues running west.
There's a Shield enemy out here. Thankfully his shield is breakable. It's very difficult to fight on this thin pipe. A charged punch will destroy his shield,
leaving him vulnerable for an easy kill with your sword. You'll earn x2 for killing him.
/
There's a Magnet Anchor on the cliff above you to the west. Use the Mag Glove to climb up onto the cliff, then go north and you'll be able to enter one of the
large orange pipes heading back to the east. Follow the pipe along to the east. You can't see yourself while you're inside the pipe. Be careful as you
approach the end. You don't want to fall out of the pipe.
At the end of the pipe there's another Magnetic Anchor that you can use to zip up to the cliff above you. When you jump off of the anchor point you'll need
to press ← + to climb onto the cliff. If you press ↑ you'll fall.
On the west side of this plateau you'll find a lever that you can turn. Turn the level clockwise until it locks into place. The plateau will swivel counter-clockwise
to form a path leading south. Head south along the path. Make sure you get close enough to trigger the Save Checkpoint to the west as you go by.
There are a few exploding poisoned deer in the area, so be ready to avoid them. Your warp ability is great for escaping from them as they explode.
The path to the east with the purple goo is a dead end. Take the path to the southwest, but stay on guard for more exploding deer. At the end of the path,
turn and go east past a purple orb that will spit out a cloud of poison as you pass. There's also another exploding deer nearby.
There's a lever here, but the purple goo spores have grown around it and jammed it up so you can't move it.
There are some stone steps leading down to the south of the lever. Take the steps down, then head east. There is a small orange ladder leading down at
the east edge of the clearing. You have to drop down a small ways to reach the ladder. Take the ladder down and drop onto an orange pipe below.
There's another large open pipe just to the left of the ladder. Enter the pipe and head west. You'll come out near some purple flowers that will raise up
menacingly. As long as you hurry past they won't bother you.
West of the flowers your'll find a vine ladder leading up the cliff face. Climb the vines as high as you can, then jump to the right to another vine ladder, then
climb that ladder up to the top of the cliff.
Now you're on a raised platform just south of the lever you saw earlier. Jump across to the west to another small stone platform, then jump north to a raised
section of wall, and north again to another section of wall leading to a higher platform north of the purple orb in the courtyard below.
There's a Sprite here, locked in a cage. Swing at the cage with your sword to free it, and watch as it flies to the north to the beetle in the
distance
Jump back down to the east toward the stuck lever and head back down the steps to where you found the small ladder. Rather than dropping down to
the ladder, jump across a gap to the southeast onto an orange pipe that you may not have noticed before. Jump up to the top of the think orange pipe to
the east. At the south side of this pipe there's a short vine ladder leading down.
Take the vine ladder and drop down at the bottom. Enter the pipe. Proceed north and watch for an exit hole on the right. The camera changes awkwardly
as you go through the pipe. Keep following the pipe as it makes a couple of turns. It's difficult to tell what direction you're going. At the end of the pipe
you'll find a vine ladder leading up. Climb up the ladder and you'll emerge on top of the pipe
There's a Magnetic Anchor on the cliff to your north. Use the Mag Traversal ability and climb up onto the cliff face to the north. Here you'll find the sprite
with the Beetle. Wait for the sprite to destroy the purple barrier with its song, then stab the Beetle with your sword to clear the purple spores from this
area
Don't forget to pick up the butterfly left in the place of the Beetle before you go.
South of the butterfly, there's a vine ladder where you can climb down to a lower level. On the stone outcropping down below you'll find another
Vista location.
/
Climb back up the ladder and head west. Drop down to the lower level and continue west to the save point and then go south until you come to the lever you
passed earlier. With the purple spores gone you can now turn the lever counter clockwise which will change the landscape again.
There's a path that moves into place next to a stone ladder on a pillar that you couldn't reach before. You're not ready for that yet, though. Instead go
southeast of the pillar and you'll find the small ladder that you took down earlier. It leads to a fatal drop now. Instead of taking the ladder, jump across the
gap to the southeast. This takes you to a different area than it did before. There's another lever here. Turn the lever clockwise into position. This will slide
the section of land you're on to the left to lock in with the other section.
Now go back to the stone pillar with the stone ladder and climb it to the top. Follow the new path east and south. It will lead you up to another
Butterfly at the end of the trail.
Hop back down to the left and then proceed south. Hop down off of the rock to the orange pipe down below, which is now moved into position and you can
see water running through it. Hop down to the left of the large pipe onto a smaller pipe, and follow that pipe south for a ways, then continue along the pipe
as it turns east.
This will lead you to a rock plateau with a tall stone ladder leading up. At the top, there's another shorter stone ladder leading further up. From here you can
jump across a gap to the west to a large section of rock above the pipes. Continue west and jump across yet another gap to another stone plateau.
Follow this long grassy path south and eventually you'll come to a Save Checkpoint. Keep going south past the Checkpoint and you'll eventually find some
stone steps leading up. This will bring you back to the area to the south where you found the key to raise up the forest.
You come out on a raised platform that you couldn't reach from the other direction. There's a punch button to the west that will make a stone
ladder down for easy traversal in the future.
To the right you'll find a Hand Activation switch next to the pipe. This is the final switch that will restore the southern Waterway. Assuming you
followed this guide and did the west path first, you will earn the Watershed Complete trophy.
Watershed Complete
Restore all the waterways
The waterways are restored, but there are several more collectibles that you can now access. We're nearing the end of the game now, so if you've been
following this walkthrough you'll be earning several trophies for collectibles in this next stretch.
We'll start with the final Lore door.
Use the short stone wall just north of the switch you just flipped to climb up on top of the orange pipe. Follow the pipe to the east. The pipe turns north and
heads down. The pipe is wet and slippery. When you step to the north you'll slide down the pipe and go flying off into the air. You need to be ready for this,
or you'll fall to your death.
/
There is a Magnetic Anchor on a wall up ahead. The game will go into slow motion as you go flying off the pipe. You need to press R1 to use the Mag Glove
to grab the anchor point and climb up onto the stone walkway.
There's a short stone ladder to the right. Climb up the ladder, then follow the path northeast. You'll go behind a large stone ladder. Double back around from
the other side and jump over to the cliff with the stone ladder and climb the ladder as high as you can. Jump left at the top of the ladder and you'll grab
another stone ladder which you can use to climb up to the top of the plateau. There's a Save Checkpoint at the top.
There's a teleporter pad northeast of the Checkpoint that will take you to another plateau to the east. There are multiple vine ladders leading down off of
this plateau. Start by taking the ladder at the south end of the plateau and climbing down. There's a gap in the ladder part way down. You'll have to let go of
the ladder momentarily with , then grab the vines again by pressing ↑ as you fall.
At the bottom of the second ladder section it will be save to let go and drop to the ground level.
At the bottom, you'll run into an unbreakable shield enemy. Kill him for x5. West of him you'll find an Axe Throwing Bugbear who will give you another
x3 when you defeat him.
On the west side of the platform you'll find another lever. Turn the lever clockwise to raise the platform high up and level out the ground in the area.
Head back to the northeast until you reach the teleporter pad you used earlier and look for a vine ladder leading down on the west side of the cliffs. It's
somewhat difficult to spot if you're not looking for it. This ladder was there earlier, but it didn't go anywhere at the time.
Take the Vine Ladder down to a clearing. Head Northwest in this clearing and you'll find the Final Lore Door. You can only open this door if you've upgraded
your sword all the way.
As always, press the switch on the right, then plug in the power core to the socket on the left to start the light show.

Activate lore room 5/5
Backtrack the way you came until you get to the teleporters. From here the landscape has changed a bit and the path back to the south will be different.
West of the teleporter pads you'll reach the Save Checkpoint. Just southwest of the Checkpoint there's a small orange pipe that you can climb onto. Follow
the pipe south until you hit a fence. Drop off to the stone walkway to the west, then take the walkway underneath the pipe to the right where you'll find a
staircase leading up above the pipe. Continue south and west. Jump off the ledge to the west and you'll land back on the large orange pipe that you first
followed to reach the lore door. Follow that pipe back to the place where you activated the final Waterway switch.
Jump down into the water in what has now become a moat surrounding the dome structure in the middle. Swim east and look for stone platform sticking just
out of the water next to a ladder leading up to the walkway on the northeast side of the moat. Climb the ladder and then head south. Soon you'll come to
another waterway separate from the circular moat to the west. Hop into the water and swim south. There's a bomber throwing glow worms situated on top of
a walkway running over the water.
Swim south and then veer east and you'll be able to climb out of the water onto dry land. There's a Save Checkpoint here.
Head east past a couple of purple claws. There are several large gremlins in the area. One of them is a large gremlin who will give you x1 when you
defeat him.
Continue east and you'll pass a Fast Travel Station. Go south down a path with more purple talons sticking out of the ground. There will be a few more
smaller gremlins in the clearing at the end of the trail.
After you deal with the gremlins, go west. The landscape ends in a cliff. Look for a brown vine ladder leading down from the cliffs. Take the vines down, and
then continue to drop down at the bottom. You'll eventually fall into a small pond.
Swim west and watch for a metal ladder on the north side of the pond. Climb the ladder up onto a small balcony. There is an orange pipe to the south
that leads west. Go as far to the west as you can. There's a Magnetic Anchor up above you on the pipe. Zip up to the Anchor, then zip left to another /
anchor, and from there jump left onto a small section of pipe sticking out of the wall. There's a broken robot on this pipe that you can salvage
for a piece of energy.
If you've been following this guide, this is your final energy upgrade and will upgrade you to five full bars of energy and you will earn the Core Collector
trophy.
Core Collector
Fully upgrade your energy
Hop back down into the water and swim back east the way you came. Find the vine ladder leading up along the northeast side of the water and climb all the
way back up to the top.
Next head south. There are two paths heading south. The path further east leads up to a raised platform, while the path in the center goes
down a bit through a small canyon. Take the lower path first. Go south as far as you can, and then turn west. At the end of this path you'll find a
box containing x10.
Return back the way you came and take the path further east, which goes up a series of stone steps to a higher elevation as you go south. At the end of the
path, jump across the gap to the west and continue west along the raised walkway.
Eventually you'll come to an open area where you'll be attacked by several enemies. There are two axe throwing Bugbears and one armored Bugbear.
The Axe Throwing Bugbears are worth x3 each, while the armored Bugbear is worth x10, for a total of x22.
After you dispose of these enemies, you'll find a Vista at the northern edge of the area. If you've been following the guide, this will be your final
Vista, earning you the World Explorer Trophy.
World Explorer
Discover every vista
Continue west. Drop down a couple of steps and you'll find a stone ladder you can use to climb down to a lower level (although it's not so far that you can't
just drop down if you like). At the bottom, head northwest, then go north across a thin path.
There's a Shield enemy here. Thankfully his shield is breakable. There's not much room to move around. Killing him gives you x2.
There are some stone steps leading up to the northeast. There are several purple talons that will take swipes at you as you pass by, so don't dilly dally.
Continue north along the path until the pathway ends. You'll start to hear the cries of a Sprite as you go.
/
At the north end of the path, go east, dropping down a couple of small steps. There's a stone ladder to the north, but ignore it for now. It will take you up to
the bomber you saw earlier. It's easier to come back for him later.
Instead, drop down the stairs to the south. This will leave you standing in front of a purple beetle. This is the first time you've encountered one
of these beetles before you found the sprite. There's nothing you can do to it without the sprite to bring down the purple mucus shield around
the beast.
There's another natural stone staircase leading up to the south. Climb the stairs and follow the path south and west and you'll find the Sprite captured in
a cage made of small talons. Swing at the cage with your sword to free the Sprite, then return back down to the Beetle and destroy him after the Sprite
eliminates his shield with his song. If you've been following along with the guide, this will be your last beetle. You'll earn the Return Home Trophy.
There's also a Butterfly that you can pick up after the purple goo is cleared away in the same location where you killed the Beetle.
Return Home
Rescue all the sprites
Go back up the natural stone steps to the west of the Butterfly, and proceed north. Climb the loose stone ladder along the wall. Head across the thin
walkway to the east, killing the Bomber on the path for x3.
On the right side of the path you'll find a punch button that you can use to make a ladder down on the east side of the river for easy access in
case you need to come back here again.
Proceed northeast under a walkway and continue until you reach a circular area with a stone path running around it. Here you'll be attacked by an ogre
with unbreakable armor that you'll need to pull off with your Magnetic Glove ability. You'll earn x5 when you kill him.
A circle of sprites will appear after the fight to cheer for you for a few seconds before fleeting away.
At the north end of the circular arena there's a series of staggered platforms you can use of stairs to get up on the walkway running around the edges of the
area. Proceed left, going counter-clockwise around the area.
When you reach the 9 o'clock position, take a small detour off to the left, and follow the path south a ways. You'll find a box at the end of the
path that you can open for x10.
Go back to the circular walkway and continue going counter-clockwise, jumping across any gaps in the wall. At the 3 o'clock position you'll find
a metal ladder leading up. At the top, you'll find another box that you can open for another x10.
Climb back down the ladder and drop to ground floor in the center section, then proceed back to the west, back across the bridge where you killed the
bomber. When you come down off the ladder on the west side of the river, continue west up onto the raised plateau.
Drop off the plateau to the lower level on the west side, then proceed south. You'll find a Flower Pod that you can pry open for along the
east side of the path next to the raised level you just came from.
Go south. When the path splits, take the path to the southwest. Eventually you'll come to a large grove of destructible trees blocking the path. Cut them
down and continue. After a few feet you'll come to a stone ladder leading down the cliff face to your south.
At the bottom of the ladder there's a stone platform along the side of the cliff. Start by going west, jumping across the gap to the next platform.
Continue west and jump across to another platform. Here you'll find a butterfly at the west end of the platform. If you've been following this
guide, this will be your final Butterfly, earning you the Rogue Beauty Trophy.
Rogue Beauty
Collect all butterflies
/
Next, head east back to the stone ladder. Don't climb back up, though. Continue east along the walkways past the ladder. You'll have to jump over a small
cap to keep going. At the east end of the path, there is a Magnetic Anchor that you can use to zip across to the right to another set of outcroppings on the
cliffs there. You need to press → + to climb onto the cliff. The game can be somewhat finicky about the direction. If you jump the wrong way and begins to
fall, press L1 quickly to zip back to the same Anchor Point so you can try again.
Continue heading east, dropping down to a slightly lower level. When you reach the next gap, you can jump across to the southeast. Now you'll be standing
on a ledge with two Magnetic Anchor Points on the wall below you. This will begin a tricky section of the game where you'll have to traverse through a large
maze of Magnetic Anchor Points. Prepare yourself.
Magnetic Anchor Puzzle
It's not usually an issue, but in this section you need to be aware that your energy will slowly tick down while you're using your Magnetic Glove to hold
onto an anchor point. If you run out of energy, you'll fall, which will result in death at most places during this section. You need to be quick, and watch
for places where you can rest to recover your energy if it gets low. It's certainly possible to get through the entire puzzle without stopping if you have
at least 3 energy bars.
To reach the first Anchor Point, you'll have to drop down off the cliff face to the south. Walk south and press to let go, then press L1 to grapple onto
the anchor point.
Don't bother zipping down to the second anchor point. Either anchor will be just fine. There's a moving Anchor Point on the wall to your right. It's going
up and down. When it comes to the top, you can zip over by continuing to hold L1 and pressing → + when it is within range.
Wait until the anchor point moves all the way to the bottom and press → + again to zip across to a stationary anchor point to the right.
There's another anchor point to the right moving up and down. Press → + once again when it is within range to zip to it.
As this anchor point moves up, there's another moving anchor point on the left that will come down. Press ← + to zip across to this anchor point.
This is your opportunity to rest if your energy is low. You can let go of this anchor point and drop down safely to a platform below you
where you can wait until your energy is restored before continuing on.
When you're ready, grapple back onto the moving anchor point if you let go to rest, and wait for it to take you up. There's a stationary anchor point to
/
the right and you can reach by pressing → + when the mobile anchor is at the top of its path.
You're past the dangerous point in the puzzle now. From here on if you fall, you'll just fall onto a platform and get to try the last section again. There are
3 Anchor Points on this wall, and often you will not be able to reach the anchor point above you. Press ↑ + and you will either zip up to the next
anchor, or you will jump. If you jump, you will get high enough to reach the next anchor. Press L1 during the jump to grab the next anchor. There are 3
anchor points along the wall, so you may have to do this twice to reach the top. Once you reach the top anchor, simply press ↑ + to climb safely into
the cave.
Once you reach the cave, you'll be greeted by a cheering squad of Sprites. There's a box inside. Opening the box gives you the Schematic
for the Sword Punch Ability. After all the trouble to get here, it's honestly a little underwhelming.
It is nearly impossible to get back to the mainland without dying. I believe this is actually something the developers overlooked. The path
north from the box drops you into a patch of vines that kills you instantly. You can go back through the Anchor Maze the way you came,
but when you reach the final 2 anchor points, you can't reach the top anchor from the bottom anchor to climb back to the ledge above.
To reach the anchor, you need to jump up as high as you can ↑ + , but that won't get you high enough to zip to the top anchor point. At the top of
your jump, press to do an air punch. This will cause you to go a couple of inches higher, which will get you just high enough to access the top
anchor point. Press L1 before you start moving down to zip up to the top anchor point so you can climb up to the cliff to safety.
If you fall, it's not that big a deal. You'll just respawn at your last Save Checkpoint. It's actually the easy way to get back. I imagine that's why the
playtesters never caught this problem.
Whether you fall and respawn, or make your way back through the maze, make your way back to the Save Checkpoint, and then east of that to the Fast
Travel Point. Head southeast of the Fast Travel Point and you'll find a canyon path leading south between two cliff faces.
When you exit the canyon, turn and go east. You will come to 2 Armored Ogres. These are normal Armored Ogres. You defeat them by hitting them with
a charged punch to break their armor to make them vulnerable to your attacks. Each Ogre gives you x2 for a total of x4.
There's a somewhat cylindrical structure in the middle of this courtyard that has a circuit breaker box plugged into it. Pull the box out and you'll see a stone
walkway drop down to the floor. Pull the box northeast and you'll find a somewhat cubical structure with a hole for the circuit breaker box. Plug the box into
this structure. This will create a stairway leading up onto the top of the structure and a walkway leading northwest that leads up onto a high wall to the north.
There's a punch button here that you can use to make a stone ladder down to the ground level. Use the punch button, then climb back down to
the courtyard.
Pull the box out of the hole you just plugged it into, and move it back over and plug it back into the cylindrical object where you first found it. This raises the
stone walkway back up into place so you'll be able to use it.
Climb back up to the wall on the north using the stone ladder that you created with the punch button. There's a tall metal ladder to the left that will take you
up to a much higher level. With the walkway back in place, you can jump across a gap to the south over to that walkway. The walkway turns west. Proceed
west, jumping over another gap, then follow the walkway as it turns south and then east again. At the end of the walkway you'll find a tall metal ladder
leading down.
At the bottom of the ladder, go northwest into an open doorway.
You'll enter a large room with 3 Rolling Armored Shield enemies. These guys can be tough. Usually there will be a place where you can just lure them off
a cliff. There is no cliff here, so you'll have to fight them. You can't damage them with your sword. If you punch them with a charged punch it destroys
their shield. Charge Punch them again to destroy their armor. After that you can hurt them with normal attacks.
This can still be somewhat challenging with 3 of them. If you just run around between them and be ready to roll out of the way, you can get them to roll
into each other, doing damage to both of them until you destroy their shields and/or armor. Each enemy gives you x5, for a total of x15.
When you defeat all 3 enemies, a metal ladder will raise into place to your right. Climb the ladder and you'll find a Hand Activation Switch. Activate
the switch, then hop back down and exit the cave the way you came in.
Climb the tall ladder and follow the walkway back around until you can climb back down to the courtyard. If you like, you can take a shortcut on the west side
by jumping to the raised stone platform west of the walkway.
Once you're back at ground level, proceed to the southeast side of the courtyard. Follow the light pulses in the circuitry on the ground up a natural
staircase. At the top you'll find a lever. Rotate the lever clockwise. This will restructure the surrounding landscape, creating a raised land bridge along the
east side of the area heading north.
Proceed north, climbing up to higher levels as needed. Some of the steps are kind of high. You have to be running to get the height on your jumps to be
able to climb up. At the north end of the path there's a Magnetic Anchor high up on a structure ahead. Use it to climb up onto a walkway on the side of the
structure. Follow the walkway northeast and you'll find a metal ladder leading up.
Climb the ladder to the stop of the tower then go west. There's a narrow bridge leading west to another tower. Take the metal ladder on the south side of this
tower back down. At the bottom you'll find a punch button that you can use to create a stone ladder down for easy future access in case you fall.
If you look at the map you'll be able to tell that you're on the hand of another giant broken down robot. Continue west along his arm. Jump the gap to the
west over to his shoulder. Continue west until you can drop down into a sphere that was likely his head.
/
From here it can be somewhat difficult to find the path forward. There's a small crack in the floor on the right side with a brown vine ladder leading down into
the Colossus.
You can see the core glowing in the center of the room, but before you grab it, there's a small path on the southwest side of the chamber
leading down to a Flower Pod at the end that you can pry open for a . If you've been following this guide, this will be your final Heart Piece,

For the 3 Rolling Armored Shield enemies near the end: it's very easy to lure them outside and get them to roll off the cliff...

I just completed the right hand and should been awarded the watershed trophy. I followed the guide from sentence to sentence. Should I be worried?

You should not be able to miss the watershed trophy. But if you followed the path laid out in the guide, you should have gotten it. It's possible you just missed
the notification. Double check your trophies to make sure.
