With an aim to beyond academics, Mechanical department organized a
seminar on ” Robot Welding” on 15/12/2017 by Y. Satish Assistant professor
from Mechanical department in GIET college of engineering. There were 106
no. Of students from III Year Mechanical Students participated in this seminar
The purpose of this seminar is to provide excellent opportunity to all students
to know more about Robot Welding. Students were easily understand about
Robot Welding.
Robot welding is the use of mechanized programmable tools (robots), which
completely automate a welding process by both performing the weld and
handling the part. Robot welding is commonly used for resistance
spot welding and arc welding in high production applications, such as the
automotive industry.
