Hazrat was born in the year 1303 Hijri in Hyderabad. And he
left this world in the 1373 Hijiri corresponding to the year 1953
A.D. in the Hyderabad city.
His name was Syed Shah Mohammed Yahiah Hussaini
Badashah and his poetic name was Haziq. He was born in
Hyderabad and was brought up in Hyderabad. He was a disciple
of his father Hazrat Syed Mohammed Siddiqui Sahab. As he
was at a younger age when his father died. So for this, he was
under the care and guardianship of his elder brother Hafiz Syed
Usman Hussaini Sahab, and in his watchfulness, Hazrat obtained
education and training. And from him, he has obtained saintly
dress upon completion of the education and training.
In the year 1332 Hijiri his elder brother died. And who has no
successor and male children after his death. And upon much
insisting he has become successor and caretaker and custodian
upon the death of his elder brother and his ancestors.
In Hyderabad’s old and famous school Darul Uloom he has
obtained knowledge of the manifest from his real uncle Hazrat
Umar Sahab and also from the son of his uncle Hazrat Abdul
Quadeer Siddiqui Sahab. And in Arabic script and as usual Urdu
script and for this he was a student of Mir Hashim Ali. In the
poetry, he was a student of Hazrat Fasahat Jung Jalil and Hazrat
Thaqib Badayuni. And his poetic name is Haziq which is
famous and well known.
Hazrat does not like very much mere show. And he does not like
to visit and see much wealthy persons and higher officers.
Without discrimination in the religion, he used to help needy
poor people and patients of all religions.
He used to cure diseases with magic and sorcery by praying
and amulets and by the method of the spiritual system. He used
to talk less and eat less and used to wake up throughout the
night. And he was a Sufi person of the innermost knowledge. He
has done the pilgrimage to Makkah and visited the Madina two
times during his life period.
Death: Hazrat left this mortal world at the age of 70 years on
the 4th Safar month in the year 1373 Hijiri corresponding to the
year 1953 A.D.at his residential house in the locality in Qazipura
in Hyderabad city. And he was buried outside of Fatah Darwaza
in the Masri Ganj area.
Children: He has four sons 1. Syed Mohiuddin 2. Syed Ibrahim
3. Syed Usman 4. Syed Mohamed and one daughter her name is
Safia Qamarunnisa and she was married to Mir Akram Ali Khan
Jagirdar grandson of late Nawab Farkhanda Yar Jung. At present
time the successor and caretaker and custodian of the shrine of
his father and his ancestors is Hazrat Syed Shah Mohiuddin
Hussaini Quaderi and he has sat on the seat of teaching and
instruction as per reference of the book ‘Guldasta Tajliat’ at the
page 235.
Location: Hazrat’s grave is situated on the road which goes
from Fatah Darwaza to toward Tomb of Hazrat Shah Raju Qattal
on the right hand in the locality of Misri Ganj in the limited
preserved land area. This large land preserved area is known as
‘Riyad Jannah.’ And in which available grave of Hazrat and
some graves of the other person in it.In this land area, there are
found the garden, well and buildings of a shrine, and Sama
Khana of the earth made.
Choukhandi : The term Chaukhandi tombs form an
early Islamic cemetery. The tombs are notable for their elaborate
sandstone carvings. The tombs are similar in style to the
elaborate tombs at the Makli Necropolis .
In the boundary land in the center place on 8 feet and 5 feet
height and 23 feet square permanent platform is there is the
available grave of Hazrat inside of the Choukhandi. The full
floor of the platform is made of sand and on the three sides of
the platform the eastern, western, and southern sides there are
found steps to the platform.The Choukhandi is made of stones
but it is without a roof inside. On every side there are three
beautiful stone pillars found and in total there are 12 stone
pillars are there in the Chaukandi on them there is yellow color
is found. And inside there is the floor of the stone is found.
Grave: In the Choukhandi there is found only one grave of the
Shaikh of time and which is made of marble and stones. The
dimension of the grave is as follows.
8 feet 6 inches in length and 5 feet and 6 inches in width and its
height is one foot and 3 inches.
Urs or annual death anniversary: Hazrat’s annual death
ceremony is celebrated every year from 3rd to 5th Safar on
regular basis on a grand scale.
During the Urs period, there will be much rush of the general
visitors, disciples, and devotees. There will be found an
arrangement of the fair and there were will good arrangement of
electricity and water supply during the Urs celebrations.
And during the three days of Urs, there will be much rush as
well as decorations will be found in the shrine building. On the
grave, there is not found a table.
