THE ATTEMPTS FOR CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE AND ARCHITECTUREL STUDIES GO BACK ABOUT 200 YEARS DURING THE PERIOD
OF COLONIZATION IN INDIA, BRITISH STARTED BUILDING ICONIC AND SUPREME BUILDINGS IN INDIA SUCH AS COURTS, HOUSES,
PARLIAMENT HOUSES, ETC. IN LATE 19TH CENTURY PEOPLE OF INDIA TRIED TO STUDY THE FIELD OF ARCHITECTURE ALONG WITH THE
BRITISHERS, FOR WHICH THE FIRST ARCHITECTURE COLLEGE IN INDIA CALLED J.J. SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE WAS ESTABLISHED, IT
ALSO HAPPENS TO BE ASIA’S FIRST ARCHITECTURAL COLLEGE. IT WAS THE ONLY COLLEGE PROVIDING PROPER ARCHITECTURAL
