A brief biography of Hazrat Sad Allah Quaderi
Naqshabandi Sahab Hyderabad
Hazrat was born in a Frontier State and his date of birth is not
known. He was the spiritual master of the Sufi chain of Quaderia
and Naqshanbandia and he was born in the Frontier State and he
obtained knowledge in that place. He obtained favor from
learned personalities and scholar persons. He was a disciple and
caliph of Hazrat Shah Ghulam Ali and who was the caliph of
Hazrat Mirza Mazhar Jan Jan Dehlavi.
He arrived in Hyderabad in the year 1247 Hijri during the
ruling period of Nawab Nasir Doula the fourth Nizam of
Hyderabad State from Delhi and he has settled down in the
locality of Urdu Sharif in Hyderabad. He was a perfect man in
the trust of Allah. He used to engage in the remembrance of
Allah and thinking of Allah always.
There was such condition of his trust and content that when
Raja Chandu Lal Shadan Diwan (secretary) of Hyderabad State
and other Nawab and rich persons want to grant daily allowance
for his substance but Hazrat did not accept such offers in this
matter. In spite of Hazrat's content and trust, there will be an
arrangement of the meals of 100 persons of his disciples and
devotees on his table cloth on daily basis. And the number of his
disciples reached many thousand at that time.
After Fajr and Asar's prayer, he will ask all his disciples and
devotees to sit in the circle and Hazrat will teach the knowledge

of meditation. Hazrat was lame and his two feet were defective
and so he could not move. Hazrat will come out of his house on
special occasions on the back of his disciples.
Hazrat was a perfect holy person of his time in Hyderabad.
And he left this mortal world during the ruling period of the 4th
Nizam of Hyderabad on 28th Jamad Awwal in the year 1270
Hijri corresponding to the year 1854 A.D. And he was buried in
the building near the mansion of Mama Jamila in the locality of
Urdu Sharif. And Hazrat’s grave was found inside of the tomb.
Today his tomb is visited by a large number of visitors and
general persons.
Tomb of Hazrat in Urdu Sharif: The grand tomb was built by
his disciple and caliphate Hazrat Mohammed Hussain by his
personal account upon spending huge funds for the construction
of the tomb who was the tutor of the 5th Nizam Afzal Doula
Bahadur.
His caliphs were famous and well known and the details are
as follows.
1. Hazrat Miskin Shah 2. Hazrat Mohammed Hussain 3. Syed
Karim Allah 4. Hakim Mir Asif Ali .5.Maulavi Niaz
Mohammed Badakshani 6. Maulvi Syed Mohamed Usman and
the last caliph of Hazrat who was become the successor of the
Hazrat.
Shrine building: Hazrat's grave is found in the Urdu Sharif
locality in the grand tomb on a wide platform. The grave is 8
feet in length and 4 feet in width. And its floor is made of clean
and thin sands. And this sand is changed usually over the period
of 3 to years and on this platform on the western side, there is
the grave of Mir Ashraf Ali and whose grandfather Mir Laiq Ali
was the former prime minister of Hyderabad kingdom. And at

the eastern side, the grave of Syed Rahmatullah is found and
there is the grave of Hazrat's successor and caliph Hazrat Syed
Mohamed Usman, and the grave of his wife is also found there.
And these graves are made of clear and white sand.
The platform is made of sand and the walls and sides of the
platform are made of marble stones. The dimension of the
platform is as follows.
· Length 19 feet 8 inches on the east and west side and wide
13 feet on the north and south side and inside area of the tomb is
in square shape. And its square area is 24.5 feet. In the tomb,
there are found 4 doors on four sides. There is the door on the
western side which will have Chilman (a hanging screen made
of reeds or spilt bamboo for obstructing the view, curtain, a
Venetian blind) and it is kept always open and on this door,
there is found the small wooden door with nets. The visitors
used to come and go from this door. And Hazrat’s tomb is high
and made in grandeur style and very much beautiful in look.
And such a higher tomb is not found inside Hyderabad city. But
there is the tomb of Hazrat Shah Raju Qattal which is many
degrees higher than Hazrat's tomb and found outside of Fatha
Darwaza. On the outside of the tomb, there is the left side area
of 14 feet and which is covered by strong walls.
Mosque: There is found one beautiful mosque attached to the
shrine building of the Hazrat. And this mosque was built by
Hazrat during his life period. In the middle of the arch of the
mosque, there is found a tablet written by Hazrat Hafiz Mir
Shamsuddin Mohammed Faiz and in the writing of calligraphy
of Hazrat Zard Ali on the marble stone on which found the
chronological date of death of Hazrat 1267 Hijri and there was
written couplet in the Urdu language it as follows.

Urs or annual death anniversary: On every year on the 28
Jamid Awwal Hazrat's annual death anniversary will be held. In
the Urs ceremony, there is not allowed any kind of music and
singing and also there is not allowed of the eating of the food
there and there will be held a meeting for the recitation of the
Qur'an. And in which there will participate many thousand
persons who participate in the recitation with sincerity and
devotion and in a short period of time there will be finished
away 8 to 10 Qurans easily.
And after a meeting of the Fataha, there will be held a
ceremony of garlanding the grave of Hazrat. And there is no
found tablet on the tomb or on the grave of the Hazrat.
At present caretaker and custodian of the shrine, the building
is Hazrat Syed Mohammed Naqshbandi and his genealogical
link is as follows.

Umar bin Syed Mohammed Khizer bin Syed Mohammed
Usman Naqshbandi who was the successor and custodian of the
Hazrat, as well as he, was a famous holy person.
Hazrat Sad Allah Quaderi Naqshbandi was a founder of the
Naqshbandi Sufi chain in the Hyderabad and Hazrat's
genealogical link to the Naqshbandi Sufi order caliphates is
mentioned as follows.
