MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

(EDUCATION & TRAINING DEVELOPMENT)

This Memorandum of Understanding is made and signed in Jakarta on this day 06


Desember 2021, by and between:

1. SMK Wisata Harapan Massa of Jl. H. Asmawi No. 79 Beji - Depok

And

2. DOUBLETREE BY HILTON JAKARTA – DIPONEGORO of Jl.


PegangsaanTimur No.17, Cikini – Menteng, Jakarta, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta
10310.

WHEREAS:

1. THE SPONSOR is desiourous in supplying Hospitality and Tourism students for such
student attachments and training in Double Tree By Hilton Hotel Jakarta-
Diponegoro.
2. THE HOTEL is desiourous in providing student attachment opportunities and
practical hospitality and tourism training facilities in Double Tree by Hilton Jakarta-
Diponegoro.

Both parties have agreed to enter into an On The Job Training agreement under the
following terms and conditions:

ARTICLE I
PERIOD OF AGREEMENT

This shall commence effective as of 1 (one) year, ( 06 December 2021 ) and will expire on
( 06 December 2022 ).

ARTICLE II
ASSIGNMENT, WORK DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY

1. The Sponsor will supply an opportunity for the trainee in Double Tree by Hilton
Jakarta-Diponegoro.
2. The Sponsor will do a monitoring session at the hotel, at the minimum of 1 (one) time
per training period
3. The sponsor will provide all documentations required for the application of training
including,
a. Student information and identification
b. Medical examination report issued by medical laboratory or Hospital which is
appointed by THE SPONSOR and medical insurance for student, with additional
Rapid Test Result done 2- 3 days before the start of internship date
c. Parent’s Letter of Agreement from the selected students

ARTICLE III
RESPONSIBILITIES and PROHIBITIONS

1. The trainee must adhere to the hotel’s regulation.


2. The trainee is obliged to report the work place on time.
3. The trainee is obliged to maintain a good and polite appearance.
4. The trainee is obliged to obey every supervisor’s instruction which are accordance
with the job descriptions.
5. Trainee’s working days and hours are following the schedule stipulated in the
prevailing company regulation applicable in the company.
6. Repatriate any students who have violated the conduct, rules, and regulations of THE
HOTEL, employer and laws. The Hotel decision shall be final with regards to
student’s compliance to the above rules and regulations and suitability for the entire
duration of attachment.
7. The trainee is obliged to do their clearance at the latest by 2 (two) weeks after
internship period, and their certificate will be kept at the hotel until maximum 2
months after the end of their internship. After the deadline has passed, the sponsor is
obliged to get their student’s internship certificate at the hotel at the latest by 1 (one)
month after the deadline. Afterwards, the hotel will no longer keep the student’s
certificate.
8. The trainee will be eligible to monthly allowance during their internship period with
the amount of IDR 300,000,- (three hundred thousand rupiah).
9. The amount of IDR 20,000,- (twenty thousand rupiah) will be deducted out of their
monthly allowance for each absent day.
10. For the safety of the female interns, it’s prohibited to have night shift during the
internship.
11. For female trainee, maximum working hours is only until 9 PM.

ARTICLE IV
PRACTICAL TRAINING ATTACHMENT

1. The hotel shall provide 1 (one) time meal at hotel’s canteen.


2. The hotel shall issue the Certificate of Completion and Training Evaluation, if the
trainee has accomplished the On The Job Training as per agreed training period.
3. The hotel shall supervise and guide of each student during internship.
4. The hotel shall provide free motorcycle parking for trainees. However, trainees has to
submit the required documents for registration (STNK, and SIM).
5. The hotel will not provide any payment for the medical bill in case of any accident
that happen to the trainees, except for the first aid (in hotel’s clinic or hospital, if
necessary) should the incident happen inside the hotel’s area.

ARTICLE V
TERMINATION

1. This agreement is valid until date of termination as mentioned in the Article I of this
agreement.
2. The Hotel may terminate this agreement at any time if the trainee has violated the
values stipulated in the Article III of this agreement.

ARTICLE VI
CLOSING

Both parties have agreed to comply the regulations as stated in this agreement.
