1.A. Beam Wizard – auto-generate a number of horizontal beam elements on the same line.

1.A. Beam Wizard

1 2. Enter the coordinates of the ‘insert point’ of the created


beams in the existing model with respect to the Global
Coordinate System (GCS).

denoted by the capital letters (X, Y, Z) and is used for the geometric data for the structure. The Reference Point is
automatically set to the coordinates X=0, Y=0, Z=0.

1.D. Frame Wizard – auto-generate a 2-D plane grid frame composed of Beam Elements in 3-D.

Almost the same functions as the beam and


column wizard. Only this time, on the Frame
Wizard, the ‘Input’ and ‘Edit’ is on separate
tabs unlike the previous ones wherein it is
‘Input/Edit’ Tab. Also, it is used to generate a
2-D plane grid.

1.E. Truss Wizard – auto-generate a truss structure composed of beam and truss elements (top and bottom chords - Beam Elements, vertical and diagonal members - Truss Elements).
