5 INSTALLATION & ACTIVATION MANUAL

1. Go to the link for download Acronis Backup 12.5: https://dhakadistributions.com/


2. Click on DOWNLOAD Menu:

3. After showing the page Click on Acronis folder.

4. Now click on Download:


5. Now click on Acronis Backup 12.5

6. Here you will find installer for Windows and MAC Operating System. Download the installer as per your
Windows Operating System bit (32/64). In this tutorial we will show you installation procedure in Windows OS.

7. Now click on Save File button.

8. Downloading the software…


9. Here is the downloaded software. Now double click on that.

10. Installation process has been started now…

11. Now click on I accept… then click on Proceed button below:


12. In this window now click on Customize Installation Settings

13. The window will show:


14. Click on Change link from right part. In the next window showing the details. No need to unselect the option.
But if you need other agents like; for Exchange Server / for Office 365 etc. then you have selected these
options from the list. After selection press on Done button from the below.

15. Now change the Server Name. Set it as IP Address for better connectivity with Agents. Click now Change.

IMPORTANT:

Set your Server IP


Address STATIC. Not
Dynamic.

16. Click on the Menu.


17. Select the IP Address then press Done.

18. Now press on Install button.

19. Preparing for installation…


20. Now installation process has been completed. You may press on CLOSE button.

21. Sign In option will be displayed. Click on SIGN IN button.

22. Now Enter your windows login ID and password here. Then press on OK button.
23. After login to the panel the windows will show:

24. Now insert the license key. For this task click here: (add license keys).
25. Enter or copy the License Key here.
26. Then press on Add button.

27. After ADD license, click on SETTINGS then Licenses option and Click to Assign button.
28. Select the Machine then press Done.

29. Here list of Machines which are assigned for activation.


30. Now check the machines by click on DEVICES > All Devices option.

31. If you want to see details information of the device, click to the gear button, then click Details

32. Here is the details information. You can see here the activation status from here also.
33. Now if you want to ADD Machines in the Acronis Panel, just click to ADD button.

34. You have to select the OS from the list. Right now we are connecting a windows machine. So, select the
Windows logo.

35. Now fill up the files with details information (IP, User name, password) for the remote machine.
36. After fill up the fields, choose the Managed Server’s IP address by click on the menu:

37. Now click on ADD button or you can DOWNLOAD the installer for install manually to the remote machine.
38. Remote installation process has been started.

39. Installation process has been completed. Machine also showing in the panel.

40. After installation the Acronis Backup Monitor will be displayed in the taskbar on the machine.
41. You can check out your Application list and Control Add-Remove Program also:
