To ensure safety of teachers and school staff amid the continuing surge of CoVID-19 cases, all eligible school-related activities for the mid-year break on January 31 and February 2-5, 2022 stipulated in paragraph 22 of DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2021 titled “School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2021-2022” should be conducted virtually. 2. The first two-days of the five-day mid-year break may be spent to evaluate the school’s progress attained in the implementation of the educational programs, projects, and activities (PPAs), as well as to review the performance of the teachers and the school staff to address concerns through collaborative effort. 3. The last three days may be devoted for the conduct of School-based In- Service Training (INSET) activities for the teachers’ continued professional development and the preparation of their Instructional Materials (IMs). 4. Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDSs)/District Office In-Charge shall orient school heads in their respective jurisdiction on the modalities and relevant activities to be conducted during the five-day mid-year break. 5. All schools are advised to refer to the Unnumbered Division Memo dated 24 January 2022 or the 2022 Guidelines on the Submission of Learning and Development Proposals for guidance on the submission of INSET Proposals \anid’Completion Reports. The Division Monitoring Team chaired by the Assistant Schools Division Superintendents (ASDSs) shall conduct online monitoring of the compliance of all schools with the provisions of this Memorandum. Relative to this, school heads shall submit the link of the virtual INSET activity to their respective PSDSs/PICs. The PSDSs/PICs shall forward the links to the Chairperson or any member of the Division Monitoring Team through messenger or group chats (GCs) for the monitoring of INSET. 7. The Chairpersons of the Monitoring Team shall submit the accomplished monitoring tool to the HRDS of SGOD for consolidation and data analysis. 8. Enclosed are the list of INSET Monitoring Team, and monitoring tool and copies of DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2021 and Unnumbered Division Memorandum on the 2022 Guidelines on the Submission of Learning and Development Proposals, for your ready reference. 9. This Office, through the Human Resources Development Section reiterates the following guidelines on the submission of L&D Proposals and Completion Reports for the efficient implementation of L&D Program of the SDO. 2. Training Evaluation Report/QAME Result After submitting the completion report, proponents shall accomplish the appropriate link to upload pertinent data on L&D implementation within 10 days after the receiving the signed completion report.
