Getting Started With Seequent ID - Training License
Seequent announced the launch of Seequent ID (Oct 2019) and Seequent Connector (Jun 2021). Seequent
ID and Seequent Connector is a new way to access your license. This means instead of a dongle, access to
Leapfrog software for licensing, as well as accessing MySeequent, Seequent Learning, and Central will be
via an email address. The following information will help guide you through logging into Leapfrog via
Seequent ID.

Scroll down to the applications section and click the Download button.
The MySeequent website allows you to find resources, learning, and release information for your
Seequent software and services, including Geosoft and Leapfrog products. MySeequent is a secure user
portal for access to all the information you need, from Knowledge base articles to product downloads, to
a community of fellow users.
If you are already using Seequent ID, please head straight to the sign in page. Your sign in credentials for
training will be the same.
After installing and upon opening Leapfrog you will be presented with a popup dialog box directing you
to your default browser as shown below:
For the first time you log in, click ‘Always allow id.seequent.com’ and Open Seequent Connector.
The final screen will show your check out options. Here you can select what organisation you belong to
and how many days you would like to check the license out for. Extensions can also be checked out here
if they are available to you (tick to use). Extensions could include Leapfrog Edge, Geophysics,
Hydrogeology, ioGAS link and Maptek link. You can select multiple extensions using the checkboxes.
When logging in for training, please use the dropdown menu for Organisation and set to 0 APAC Training.
For Leapfrog Edge Fundamentals, please check the box for Edge.
For advanced training or project assistance, please follow the instructions from your trainer.
Please note, internet is only required for the initial sign in process. You can then work offline for the
duration of your session. If you are planning to work in a remote field environment with limited internet
connectivity, it is recommended you check out the license for the full duration of this period.
RELEASE SEAT/SIGN OUT
Leapfrog will automatically sign out at the end of the check our duration. This could be 1, 3, 10, 30 or any
number of days depending on the number of days you checked out. You can check the license back in at
any point in time.
When you have finished using the software, you will need to sign out. This is completed by clicking the
box with your name in the top right-hand corner. Select Release Seat.
Another option is to simply close Leapfrog and you will be presented with the following dialog box:
Cancel will revert back to the Leapfrog session and you will remain signed in.
Release Seat will return the licence/seat you were using.
Quit will retain your licence/seat signed out for the duration of your check out period expires. You will
be able to continue utilising the program without having to sign back in.
