Project Description

Pembangunan SEZ Tanjung Api-api berada diwilayah strategis, seperti daerah batubara, kelapa sawit
dan karet terbesar di Indonesia. Keberadaan Tanjung Api-Api Port dinilai tidak mampu mendukung
SEZ, karena kedalaman lautnya kurang dalam dan pelabuhan tersebut hanya mampu menyandarkan
kapal berbobot 5.000 Dead Weight Tonnage (DWT). Maka karena itu direncanakan pembangunan
reklamasi Tanjung Carat International Deep Sea Port yang dikarenakan letak lautnya lebih dalam dan
mampu menyandarkan kapal yang bobotnya mencapai 77.000 DWT. Selain itu Tanjung Carat
International Deep Sea Port menjadi penunjang utama SEZ yang lokasinya hanya berjarak ±15 km.

The development of SEZ Tanjung Api-api is located in strategic areas, such as the largest coal, oil and
rubber areas in Indonesia. The existence of Tanjung Api-Api Port is considered unable to support the
SEZ, because the depth of the sea is less deep and the port is only able to lean the ship weighs 5,000
Dead Weight Tonnage (DWT). Therefore, it is planned to develop Tanjung Carat International Deep
Sea Port reclamation due to its deeper sea position and able to lean the ship that weighs 77,000 DWT.
In addition, Tanjung Carat International Deep Sea Port becomes the main supporter of SEZ which is
located only ± 15 km.

Secara geografis letak Tanjung Carat International Deep Sea Port sangat strategis, karena berada di
tengah pusat ekonomi expor/impor antara Singapura dan Jakarta. Jarak Tanjung Carat dengan
Singapura ± 450 km dan jarak dengan Jakarta ± 480 km. Tanjung Carat International Deep Sea Port
juga akan menjadi pelabuhan dengan jalur lurus terpanjang didunia dengan panjang jalur 9km.

Geographically the location of Tanjung Carat International Deep Sea Port is very strategic, because its
in the middle of the center of export / import economy between Singapore and Jakarta. Distance
Tanjung Carat with Singapore ± 450 km and distance with Jakarta ± 480 km. Tanjung Carat
International Deep Sea Port will also be the world's longest straight line port with a 9km long track.
