2. Three blocks of mass 3 kg, 2kg and 1 kg are placed side by side on a smooth surface
as shown in figure. A horizontal force of 12 N is applied on 3 kg block. Find the net

3. Two smooth blocks of same mass, connected by an inextensible and massless string
which is passing over a smooth pulley, are kept in a lift as shown in figure. The lift is
going down with an acceleration ‘a’ while block A moves horizontally with respect to
