Autotime For Oracle

AutoTime is a time and labor management system that interfaces with Oracle applications to provide real-time shop floor data collection, accurate labor information for work orders and projects, complete labor accounting methods, and payroll calculation for Oracle or third-party payroll packages. It transfers employee, job, project, and organizational data between Oracle HR, projects, and work in process systems. AutoTime then validates and reports labor and material transaction data back to Oracle, as well as general ledger and payroll transactions. This relieves Oracle of complex time and attendance processing while enhancing labor management and accounting capabilities.

THE AUTOTIME SOLUTION
AutoTime is a time and labor management system for time and attendance, labor distribution, and material movement tracking for exempt and non-exempt personnel. AutoTimes processing of pay rules, attendance policies, labor distribution, and labor costing allows the policies and procedures to be applied, reviewed and corrected in real-time, with the option of independently configuring the frequency of updates to Oracle Applications. This relieves Oracle Applications of this complex processing. AutoTime greatly enhances Oracle Applications in several significant ways: Real-time shop floor data collection Accurate labor information supplied to Oracle Work in Process and Projects Complete labor accounting methods Payroll calculation for Oracle or third party payroll packages Easier management of attendance information Better audit trails to support internal or government auditing requirements

Using the AutoTime Open Interface, the Oracle Work in Process system transfers detailed job and department information. The Oracle Projects system transfers detailed project and activity information to the AutoTime system. The Oracle HR system transfers employee master data and organizational assignment data. AutoTime then validates job activity (resource transactions), material movement and project activity transactions and reports these transactions back to the Oracle Work in Process or Projects. Using the optional Labor Accounting Module, AutoTime can report actual resource costing data based on standard costing, incentive-based costing, actual costing, activity based costing, or a combination of methods. Employee and contract labor pay information can also be transferred to the Oracle payroll or a third party payroll system. In addition, General Ledger transactions can be fed to Oracle G/L through AutoTime.
