WORK PROCEDURE
1. HSE Compliance and Permits to work: HSE Compliance All works shall be performed in accordance with safety and environment policies. They are, Use proper PPE while working inside or out-side of equipment. BA set if required to be used. Hole watch / attendant required for any confined space. Use proper lighting. See that confined space entry permits are in place. See all permit documents are attached properly. Display of permit outside equipment, should be noticeable. Tool-Box talks before commencing any job. Check for scaffolding green tag, before job execution. Reporting of smallest incident. Reporting if any foreseen problem or hazard may occur. Permits to work Before commencing the activities all required valid permit will be raised for Works like spading permit, confined space entry permit etc and permit will be raised 24 hrs prior to commencing the activity. All hot work permits are obtained and maintained. 2. Depressurization / Shutting Down. The Plant/ Train FEED should be cut off and the systems should be depressurized from the existing services. The Depressurization will be done by client. Galfar will provide required Manpower to assist for depressurization.

3. Flushing of the Systems.
After depressurization, flushing of systems and equipments with N2/Steam/ water will be performed by client to handover the equipments for Maintenance. Galfar will provide required Manpower to assist works like opening and closing valves, hose connection etc.
4. Battery Limit Spading. Spading of the Battery Limit will be performed after systems flushing for isolating plant sections/ trains. All spading will be done by Galfar with the guidance of client personnel. Galfar will take the required permits for spading from the authorized departments of client. Galfar will arrange the required safety technicians and tools at the location.
5. Equipment Spading. After the flushing and battery limit spading, client will release the equipments for Maintenance as per the schedule. The spading of each equipment will be performed by Galfar for isolating the equipment. The required scaffolding as well as insulation removal will perform by Galfar. The main scopes are,
Find out the locations to be blind. Collect required number of blinds from the store. Arrange blinds at location. Make permits from the authorized client department. Make sure the required scaffolding and insulation removal is done. Open flanges and insert blinds with all safety. Tighten the bolts.

Keep the blinding tags and blinding documents for further reference.
6. Maintenance of Equipment. A. Vessels To clean the vessel, so that COMPANY can inspect and rectify any damages & recommend necessary repair if required to the vessel. Cleaning and Inspection Procedure:
Install External Scaffolding by Galfar. Remove Insulation as required by Galfar. Isolate Vessel by blinding. Remove required piping spools. Open Man ways. Ventilate the vessel as required. Offer the equipment to COMPANY for gas test. Take entry permit. Offer for pre cleaning inspection. Remove sludge using vacuum tank if required. Provide internal scaffolding if required by Galfar. Clean the vessel internally and externally. While Internal cleaning done, do make sure that all weld joints, nozzles & shell wall shall be accessible for inspection. Buffing cleaning of T joints. After cleaning offer equipment for inspection and testing by client. All removed Instruments should be cleaned or flushed properly, as per defined scope & kept covered for inspection. Carry out Post cleaning inspection. (by COMPANY) Based on the inspection performed, the necessary recommended repairs to be done by Galfar. (coating/ welding/ mechanical)
After completion of recommended repairs, re-cleaning required around the repaired area. Call for final inspection. Refit all removed internals. Remove internal scaffolding & lightings. Get final Box-up clearance approval from COMPANY inspection. Call upon operation before Boxing-up Man-way covers. Reinstall the piping spools. De-spade the vessel. Re-insulate by Galfar. Remove external scaffolding by Galfar.
