c. Relief Activities.
(1) NDMA Relief. 2400x Tents, 4000x mosquito nets and 2900x tarpaulins have been
provided to PDMA Balochistan.

(2) PDMA Sindh. 4189.5 KG relief items containing (40 Ration Bags, 76.5 Kg Cooking Oil,
400 Anti Snake Vaccines and Medicines / Medical Supplies) handed over to Air Force
Authorities for further dispatch to Balochistan. This is in addition to 600 tents sent earlier
for the flood affectees of Uthal, Balochistan.
d. Rehabilitation Activities. Restoration work at Lunda bridge at Uthal and Gaddani
bridge is in progress in District Lasbela.

5. Weather Forecast for Next 24 Hours by PMD. Scattered to widespread thunderstorm/rain
with scattered heavy falls and isolated very heavy falls is expected over Islamabad along with
Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, DI Khan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha & Gujranwala Divisions. Scattered
thunderstorm/rain of moderate intensity with isolated heavy falls is expected over the upper
catchments of all the Major Rivers along with East Balochistan and Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal,
Multan & DG Khan Divisions. Isolated thunderstorm/rain is expected over rest of the country.
6. Rainfall Last 24 Hours. Attached as Annex B.
7. Weather Alert / Advisory / Press Release. Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has
informed that strong monsoon currents are continuously penetrating the Country and likely to shift
and intensify in Upper & Central Parts of the Country from 27 July (Wednesday), under the
influence of this system, following is expected: -
a. Islamabad Capital Territory. Rain-wind / thundershowers with scattered heavy
falls expected with occasional gaps from 27-31 July (Wednesday-Sunday).
b. Balochistan. Rain-wind / thundershowers with few heavy falls expected in
Barkhan, Bolan, Chaman, Harnai, Jaffarabad, Kalat, Khuzdar, Kohlu, Lasbela,
Loralai, Naseerabad, Quetta, Sibbi, Zhob and Ziarat with occasional gaps from
27-31 July (Wednesday-Sunday).
c. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rain-wind / thundershowers with scattered heavy falls
expected in Abbottabad, Bannu, DI Khan, Haripur, Kohat, Kohistan, Kurram,
Lakki Marwat, Mansehra, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Swabi and Swat with
occasional gaps from 27-31 July (Wednesday-Sunday).
d. Punjab. Rain-wind / thundershowers with scattered heavy falls expected in

Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chakwal, DG Khan, Faisalabad,


Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Jhang, Jhelum, Khanpur, Khushab, Lahore,
Layyah, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali, Multan, Murree, Narowal, Okara, Rahim
Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Sheikhupura and Sialkot
with occasional gaps from 27-31 July (Wednesday-Sunday).
e. Sindh. Rain-wind / thundershowers with few heavy falls expected in Dadu,
Jacobabad, Larkana and Sukkur from 27-31 July (Wednesday-Sunday).
f. Gilgit Baltistan. Rain-wind / thundershowers with scattered heavy ls expected
in Gilgit Baltistan with occasional gaps from 27-31 July (Wednesday-Sunday).
8. Flood Warning / Alert.
a) River Kabul at Nowshera is in Medium Flood Level.
b) River Indus at Tarbela, Kalabagh, Chashma, Taunsa, Guddu & Sukkur are in Low flood
level.
c) High level flooding is expected in River Kabul at Nowshera & its Tributaries during next 24-
Hours. Light to moderate level flooding is expected in the Hill Torrents of DG Khan Division
and Nullahs of Rivers Ravi & Chenab during next 24-hours.
