• Ra and Rb are resistance values. Each represents the total resistance from the connection (a/b)
to the device.
• Resistance values Ra and Rb are only approximations! (ca. 10Ω)
• Each device contributes some resistance to the minus and plus wire. The amount on the minus
wire is larger.
• The leak current sums up a basic current needed by all devices plus any error currents due to
installation errors. It is measured at a reduced line voltage.
• The line current sums up the power requirement by all devices plus any error currents due to
installtion errors.
