Safety Information: Owner'S Manual
• Make sure power outlets conform to the power requirements listed on the back of the unit.
• Do not use the unit if the electrical power cord is frayed or broken.
• Always operate the unit with the AC ground wire connected to the electrical system ground.
• Do not connect the inputs / outputs of amplifiers or consoles to any other voltage source,
such as a battery, mains source, or power supply, regardless of whether
the amplifier or console is turned on or off.
• Power down & disconnect units from mains voltage before making connections.
• Do not use the unit near stoves, heat registers, radiators, or other heat producing devices.
• Do not block fan intake or exhaust ports. Do not operate equipment on a surface or in an
environment which may distort the normal flow of air around the unit. If the unit is used in an
extremely dusty or smoky environment, the unit should be periodically "blown free" of dust.
• Do not remove the cover. Removing the cover will expose you to potentially dangerous voltages.
• Do not drive the inputs with a signal level greater than that required to drive equipment
to full output.
• Do not run the output of any amplifier back into another input.
• Do not ground the red output terminal, never connect a red output terminal to
another red output terminal.
• In case of mal-function this device should be serviced by qualified service personnel only.

CONTROL The level of the microphone 1 input (21 or 2) can be switched to Line or Telephone signal strenght.
22.Power remote output
When the PIR7600 is switched on there is 12 volt present on this connector.
23. IR Receiver
Mini jack input for connecting the supplied external IR receiver.
IR OTHER
This receiver copy’s all the received IR signals to the IR extender output.
24. IR Extender
Mini jack output for connecting the supplied external IR emmiter.
IR - EYE IR-REMOTE 25. Remote RJ-45 connector
RECEIVER CONTROL RJ-45 connector for controlling the PIR-7600 with a wired remote control.
The external IR receiver send’s all (PIR7600 or other Rc’s) received IR codes to the PIR7600. PHANTOM POWER SUPPLY
The PIR7600 copy’s the IR signals to the IR output. You can apply Phantom power supply to microphone input 1 & 2.
All IR signals (system or foreign) can be extended with the PIR7600. To enable the Phantom power you have to set Jumper JP2 (MIC2) , JP1 (MIC1)
These jumpers are located inside the unit, on the pcb of the frontpanel.

FRONT PANEL
1. Power switch
To turn the unit ON or OFF, press the upper or lower part of this button. The LED above the switch will light to indicate
JP3
that the unit is ON.
2. Front microphone inputs
Stereo jack input for two balanced microphone inputs: MIC1 and MIC2 (possible to apply phantom power to MIC1 &
MIC2 by setting jumper 1 & 2)
Separate volume control (4) for each microphone input.
Tri-band tone control (5) for the microhone inputs. CHASSIS AUDIO GND
6. mic-only and mute indicator
mic-only led illuminates when the mic-only button on the remote control is pressed or when the mic-only function HUMM & BUZZ
is selected on the RJ-45 connector (25) on the back panel.
If you press the mute button on the remote control the mute led illuminates.
7. IR receiver : Eye for the local IR receiver.
8. Tri-band tone control • If ‘Hum’ or Buzz’ occurs when connecting different inputs, then this is often caused by
Bass,Mid,Treble tone control for the source inputs. ‘GROUND or EARTH LOOPS’.
9. Source volume control If this is the case, press the audio ground lift (15) button.
This volume control adjust the level of the Source inputs (1 - 6). The control has no in influence on the volume
settings of the microphone inputs.
10. Source selector
Digital source selector, turning this selector up or down selects the appropriate input source. Technical specifications
11. Volume zone 1 PIR7600
Motorized volume control for zone 1 output.
The volume control on the remote control adjust the level of the zone 1 output.
