In your own words briefly explain the following:

1. Identify the benefits of technology to students and teachers, discuss its importance.
Equips students for their future careers – In this modern world, we are
facing a technology advancement so students are engaging different kinds of
technologies. Let them explore to new things as for them not to be gullible on
how to use it but in a good way. It might be a big help in their future careers.
Personalizes learning and teaching approaches – Teachers’ works can be
easier to make a beautiful presentation. It gives pleasing in the eyes of the
children and they will not be bored when the teacher is discussing.
Drives down costs in the long run, and brings more learning
opportunities – Technology offers a wide range of advantages. Printable
sources are not necessarily because it cost much money while soft copy
sources are a big help it can be edited and send it online.
Boosts teamwork and communication – Yes, technology provides us an
easier task to do. Students and teachers can utilize online websites like
messenger, Google Classroom, and g-mail when you buy one of the essential
technologies and the learning opportunities are expanding particularly in
this pandemic time. With the help of technology, a lot of individuals may now
communicate more quickly and over greater distances than in the past. We
can now communicate nearly immediately and without regard to distance
thanks to a variety of technical improvements throughout the years.
2. Identify the challenges of technology to students and teachers, discuss its effect to
the teaching and learning process.

A lot of distractions for students and being free all the time – Technology
also has its effect on the students especially children have difficulty in
focusing the important tasks. Also, students got distracted by playing online
games, TikTok, YouTube, or either Facebook and not all the time they can
access on the internet because of unstable internet connection.

3. Suggest some solution on how to solve the challenges of technology to teaching and
learning process.

I suggest that professors establish tight guidelines prohibiting the use of


technology during class discussions.
I also suggest to minimize using a gadget because it can cause distractions
and troubles inside the classroom.

4. Discuss the role of technology in 21st century education system.


It is prominent to discuss about the role of technology in 21 st century
education system. The role of technology is to explore us on the
advancements and to keep us updated every day. Teachers can benefit from
technology because it makes it easier to organize and keep track of student
data, progress, and learning strategies.

5. “Technology will never replace great teachers, but in the hands of great teachers, it’s
transformational.” – George Couros, Discuss.
Teachers are great instructors but teachers also need to use technology for
them to be advanced and engaging them to learn more, recollect information
and to applied after they learned for them to make students captivated.
6. My reflections and lessons learned.

Nobody can ignore the fact that technology is a need in everyday life.
We are all so dependent on technology that we cannot live without it. We can
communicate with those who are far distant from us, thanks to technology.
We communicate with them on the phone and on the online websites, and we
can even see them through video calls. The use of technology has made our
life comfortable.

As a person, I do agree that technology is important but it gives us


also disadvantages. We must keep in our mind that it is risky and must limit
when to use it. It can cause our eyes blurry, it can give us radiation, it risks
our health, it drained us, scams us, and etc. It is true that when we’re using
our cellphones we procrastinate and cannot concentrate on our work or task.

Lastly, I realized that even without technologies we can survive and


evolve on our own. Not all the times we can rely on our technologies because
it is temporary it can’t stay longer. We must think the positive way and we
must organize and minimize of using it. Let us think of our health for us to
stay longer. We must be careful.
