DRRM 2021-2022 Accomplishment Report

Bagong Buhay G Elementary School conducted earthquake drills quarterly pursuant to division guidelines. The last drill had 2800 students and 96 personnel participate without incident. The school reported on typhoons, earthquakes, and tropical storms from September to October with no damage or casualties. School personnel attended seminars on fire management, earthquake contingency planning, and infection control. The school has a Disaster Operation Center and branches focused on transportation, security, logistics, communication, early warning, search and rescue, fire management, evacuation, relief, and damage control.

PLAN
BAGONG BUHAY G Elementary School
conducted the National Simultaneous Earthquake
Drill(NSED) every quarter year. Pursuant to the
Division Memorandum. Two series of earthquake
drills were carried out by the school during the
designated time for practice, the morning and
afternoon shifts.

The drill participants were 2800 pupils and 96


school personnel. The drill lasted for 30 minutes. No
untoward incident happened during the drill.

- SEPTEMBER 27, 2021 – Due to 5.7 Magnitude Earthquake
- OCTOBER 12, 2021 – Tropical Storm Maring

- No damage
- No casualties
