REORGANIZING THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL AND SECTORIAL
COMMITEES
WHEREAS; Section 106 of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that the local government unit
shall have a comprehensive multi sectoral development to be initiated by development and approved by
the Sangguniang Barangay
WHEREAS; DILG MC No. 2009-109 provides the guidelines in the monitoring of it functionality of
the Barangay Development Councils;
WHEREAS; in order for this Barangay to comply with this mandates there is a need for the reactivation
and reorganizing of the BDC to assist the Sangguniang Barangay in setting the direction of the economic
and social development as well as coordinating development efforts within Barangay.
NOWTHEREFORE, by the power vested me in law as Chief Executive in this Barangay ; do hereby
order:
Section 1. Composition – The Barangay Development Council (BDC) shall be composed of the
following:
1. POTENCIANA A. PEREZ ,Punong Barangay – Chairperson
2. ADELINA A. CULATON ,Sangguniang Barangay Member – Member
3. DEMETRIO E. SUPSUPIN JR. ,Sangguniang Barangay Member – Member
4. RUTH M. CULATON , Sangguniang Barangay Member – Member
5. DANIEL C. SABADO , Sangguniang Barangay Member – Member
6. JOHN Q. FLORENDO , Sangguniang Barangay Member – Member
7. CRISPINA F. SABADO , Sangguniang Barangay Member – Member
8. JENNYROSE M. CULATON , Sangguniang Barangay Member – Member
9. CHARLES S. BAMBICO , Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson – Member
10. MOISES A.SABADO , Representative of (OSCA) – Member

Section 2. Functions of BDC - The BDC shall have the following functions:
1. Mobilize people's participation in local development efforts;
2. Prepare barangay development plans based on local requirements;
3. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of national or local programs and projects; and
4. Perform such other functions as may be provided by law or competent authority.
Section 3. BDC Executive Committee - The BDC Executive Committee shall likewise be constituted with
the following composition:
1.POTENCIANA A. PEREZ, Punong Barangay – Chairperson
2.DEMETRIO E. SUPSUPIN JR., Sangguniang Barangay Member – Member
3.MOISES A. SABADO, Representative of (OSCA) – Member
Section 4. Functions of the BDC Executive Committee – The BDC Execomm shall have the following
functions:
1. Ensure that the decision of the council are faithfully carried out and implemented;
2. Act on matters requiring immediate attention or action by the council;
3. Formulate policies, plans, and programs based on the general principles laid down by the council;
and
4. Act on other matters that may be authorized by the council.
Section 5. SECTORAL COMMITTES. The BDC sectoral Committees, which shall assist the Barangay
Development Council in the performance of its function, shall be composed of the following:

Chairperson : CRISPINA F. SABADO SB on Women and Children

ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT
Chairperson : DEMETRIO E. SUPSUPIN JR. SB on Environment
Member : CRISPINA SABADO SB on Health and Sanitation
BDC Secretariat – The BDC Secretariat shall be created, composed by the following:
1. JOHN ROBERT E. MINA, Barangay Secretary – Chairperson
Section 6. Functions of the BDC Secretariat – The BDC Secretariat shall have the following functions:
1. Provide technical support to the BDC;
2. Document of the Council’s proceedings;
3. Prepare of the Council’s reports; and
4. Other assistance as may be required in the discharge of its functions.
Section 5. Effectivity – This Order shall take effect immediately.
