Basic Function of the Position: The
position is located in the Executive
Major Duties: Office, U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. The
incumbent will serve as a second
Protocol Assistant to the Executive
Office, reporting to the Senior (Sr.)
Protocol position and, in the absence of
the Sr. Protocol Assistant, to the
Ambassador's Office Management
Specialist (OMS). Assists the U.S.
Mission on all protocol related issues, to
include New Delhi, and the four
consulates in collaboration with their
resident protocol assistants in Mumbai,
Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata. The
incumbent will also perform other duties
as assigned.
