I. General information

Topic: Greetings and nationalities.
Time: 10 minutes
Grammar Target: Verb to be.
Vocabulary: Greetings: Hello, How are you? Bye bye, Nice to meet you.
Nationalities: Honduras-Honduran, Argentina-Argentinian, Canada-Canadian, Spain-Spanish, The United States-
American.

II. Methodology: Total physical response. Content based.


Skill: Listening and Speaking
Sub skill: Intensive listening, Predicting, Accuracy with words and pronunciation, Responding and initiating, Repair and
repetition.
Challenges: 1. Students do not speak English.
2. First time that students receive an English class.
3. Keep an English environment.

Solutions for Challenges: 1. Motivate them to use at least simple phrases.


2. Involve them into the class in order they get interested into the language.
3. Makes to the students feel comfortable into the class without any problem or distraction.
Competences: 1. Students will be able to know how to speak in a formal and informal way the English Language.
2. Students will be able to identify the different nationalities and countries into the English Language.

Pre activities:
