Hello! I am Teacher Jenelyn, I will the one to help you to learn more in this module.
I hope you will enjoy and you will like it! Hope to see you on the next module.
The worktext, Developing Skills in Music and Art introduces young learning learners to the
visual and tactile elements of art, lines, colors, shapes, and textures. Art lessons are presented to
provide the pupils an enjoyable yet challenging guide to learn about these elements.

The learners are also given the freedom to create, to explore, to experience, and to appreciate art.
The work text encourages them to express themselves in a positive way, and help them discover their creativity.

In Let Us Sing, there is variety of children’s songs where pupil’s perform steady beats through clapping,
tapping and snapping their fingers, singing a song in varying loudness allow for greater appreciation and
understanding of the song. Echo activities by replicating familiar songs facilitate greater song familiarization.

continue your child’s growth and learning. With this, we are fully ask for your support in guiding and teaching your child.

Activity 6

Materials:

 Blue, red, orange, white and Black construction paper or card stock, Glue, scissor, pencil
Step 1: trace your hand ( or have an adult help you trace your hand) on the red construction paper
Step 2: trace two circles that are connected in the middle (use a small circle shape for help)
Step 3: cut out ( or have an adult help you cut out) your hand and eye tracings
Step 4: have an adult help you cut out two circles from the black paper, to make two pupils for the eyes
Step 5: cut out( or have an adult help you cut out) a u-shaped mouth from the black paper
Step 6: cut out ( orhave an adult help you cut out) an oval shaped nose from the orange paper
Step 7: organize all of your pieces to put together
Step 8: to make cookie Monster, follow step 1 through 6, using blue paper
Step 9: glue all of the pieces together but glue Cookie Monster’s eyes in different directions

 Cut the paper plates into 2 equal parts.
 Paint the bottom part of the paper
plates with red paint.
 Stick 3 black circles on each paper plate.
 Color the body of the ladybug brown.
 Stick the paper plates on the ladybugs
Body as these will serve as the wings.
