Present Perfect Tense
Affirmative Sentences.
I have won 3 competitions
(You are still alive. so you still have time to win another competition).
She have been in the newspaper 4 times.
So, in affirmative sentences we need to use the auxiliary verb “Have/has” follows by the main
verb. (the main verb is its participle form this rule applied for regulars and irregular’s verbs.
We use have when the subjects are I, you, we and they.
We use has when the subjects are he, she, it.
III. Complete the following affirmative sentences in Present Perfect Tense by using the verbs
in brackets in their participle form and do not forget to use have/has.

interviews where you can find the Present Perfect Tense. Pay special attention to verbs and
auxiliaries.
IV. Choose two examples from the video and complete the chart below as the example shows.
