10.3 Manufacturer Debugging

Manufacturer debugging is mainly used to test whether the operation of each electrical part of the unit is
normal, which is not available when the unit is under operation.
Method: to determine whether the unit is normal by testing three-phase power input, nine alarm inputsand 5
relay outputs. For alarm input, it only displays the test result. If the result is normal the wiring is good and
parameter settings are correct; if it alarms, with flashing display of alarm characters, then make sure whether the
external wiring is good and the parameter settings are consistent.

12 Control

12.1 Control mode

a) When [control mode] is set “T. Environ”, the Control temperature = Envrionment temperature + [T.Environ diff];
① if Envrionment temperature + [T.Environ diff] > [T.setpoint max], Control temperature = [T.setpoint max];
② if Envrionment temperature + [T.Environ diff] < [T.setpoint min], Control temperature = [T.setpoint min].
b) When [control mode] is set “T. Set”, the Control temperature = [T.setpoint].

12.2 Control logic

a) When [Heat type] is set “Heat Null”,
The Compressor OFF when the Liquid temperature < Control temperature – [Close COMP];
The Compressor ON when the Liquid temperature > Control temperature – [Open COMP].
b) When [Heat type] is set “Four valve”,
The Compressor and Valve ON when the Liquid temperature < Control temperature – [Open warp], and the
Compressor and Valve OFF when the Liquid temperature higher than the Control temperature;
The Compressor ON when the Liquid temperature > Control temperature – [Open refrige], and the
Compressor OFF when the Liquid temperature lower than the Control temperature.
c) When [Heat type] is set “Elec. heat”:
The Heat ON when the Liquid temperature < Control temperature – [Open warp] ], and the Heat OFF when
the Liquid temperature higher than the Control temperature;
The Compressor ON when the Liquid temperature > Control temperature – [Open refrige], and the
Compressor OFF when the Liquid temperature lower than the Control temperature.

[Note]: If [Heat type] is set “Four valve” or “Elec. heat”, and [Close heat] is set nonzero, the Valve or Heat OFF
when the Liquid temperature ≥ [Close heat].

12.3 Defrost logic

Enable the defrost function while [Heat type] is “Four valve” and [Defrost choose] is “Use”
a) Conditions of activing defrost
 T.Condns < [Defrost temp1] lasts for 180S.
 T.liquid > [T.low protect]
 Time of frost deposit > defrost interval
Start defrosting while conditions all the above meet.
[Note]: Time of frost deposit means time the compressor had run for since last defrost action,which will be
cleared if the units stop.
Defrost interval is 120MIN if T.Condns < [Defrost temp1];
Defrost interval is 60MIN if T.Condns < [Defrost temp2];
Defrost interval is 30MIN if T.Condns < [Defrost temp3];

b) Conditions of stopping defrost

 T.Condns > [StopDefrs temp].
 Defrost action lasts for [Defrost time].
 Comp.P high occurs.
 T.liquid < [T.low protect].
Stop defrosting while one of conditions above meet.

c) Conditions of manual defrost

 T.Condns < [StopDefrs temp] .
 T.liquid > [T.low protect]
 The compressor had run for [Comp protect]

Pressing + for 2S at main screen will start defrosting while conditions all the above meet.

12.4 Logic of pump freeze protection

a) When [T.freeze prot] = “forbid”, there is no pump freeze protection.
b) Otherwise under the idle state:
if SV ≤ [T.freeze prot], the pump opens;
if SV ≥ [T.freeze prot] + 2, the pump will close after 10 seconds.
