Introduction of Nestlé
Following India's independence in 1947, the Indian government's economic
policies emphasized the importance of domestic production. In 1961, NESTLÉ
established its first facility in Moga, Punjab, where the government wanted it to
expand the milk industry, in response to India's goals. The development of Moga
prompted the establishment of NESTLÉ's Agricultural Services to inform, counsel,
and assist the farmer in several ways. Improved dairy farming techniques,
irrigation, scientific crop management techniques, and assistance in obtaining bank
loans all contribute to raising the milk production of the cows. Since more than a
century, NESTLÉ has supported the development of India and has forged a unique
bond of devotion and trust with its citizens. A million people, including farmers
and providers of packaging materials, services, and other items, now enjoy a
livelihood thanks to the Company's activities in India. In order to assure fast
collection, pay fair rates, and foster community confidence in the dairy industry,
NESTLÉ established milk collection centers. Progress involves the ongoing and
sustained creation of prosperity, which led to Moga's transition into today's
prosperous and booming milk district as well as a bustling centre of industrial
activity. In order to provide Taste, Nutrition, Health, and Wellness through its
product offerings, the company consistently concentrates its efforts to better
understand the changing lifestyles of India and anticipate consumer needs. It has a
particular advantage in these endeavours due to the company's culture of
innovation and renovation, access to the NESTLÉ Group's patented
technology/Brands expertise, and sizeable centralized Research and Development
facilities. By providing customers with a huge selection of good quality, secure
food products at reasonable rates, it aids the company in developing value that can
be sustained over time. In recent years, the company has also introduced products
for daily consumption and use, such as NESTLÉ Milk, NESTLÉ SLIM Milk,
NESTLÉ Dahi, and NESTLÉ Jeera Raita. NESTLÉ India manufactures products
of truly international quality under internationally renowned brand names, such as
NESCAFÉ, MAGGI, MILKYBAR, KIT KAT, BAR-ONE, MILKMAID, and
NESTEA. Being a responsible business, NESTLÉ India supports programmes that
raise the standard of living in the areas where it operates. Although Nestlé is
famous across the world for being a supplier of sweets, their empire goes far
beyond sweets. The corporation also owns brands including frozen meals, pet
supplies, health care items, and bottled water.

Training and motivation of employees at Nestle
Because it has been found that motivated employees would be more satisfied with
their work, deliver better customer service, and generate bigger sales volumes,
Nestle has placed a significant emphasis on employee motivation. Despite having
high standards for its workers, Nestle (2013) also provide them with the resources
they need to succeed. Employee motivation depends on team building activities
and specialized training sessions. Online courses, on-the-job training during
regular business hours, and employee mentoring programmes are all used for
training. Employees need to have a thorough awareness of the business so they are
aware of its history, current competitive position, and prospects for the future. An
employee who is completely informed of the future is more likely to stay for the
long run, which reduces the risk of turnover for the company. Nestle (2013) has
previously held training sessions that included a guided conversation through the
organization's purpose statement, job skills for a variety of professions, and an
understanding of what other employees within the company do.
Recover from service failure at Nestlé
Sometimes there is no breakdown; it is simply what the customer may perceive.
Service failure is a breakdown in the customer's impression of the quality of a
service process. But that does not matter since in marketing, the consumer is
everything. Businesses want to keep consumers, and they also want them to stay
dependable and increase their spending over time. Whenever a customer feels
mistreated, businesses need to try to make it right. Regaining the satisfaction of the
customer is a company's priority. If a consumer feels that the quality of the service
is poor, they will be unhappy. Additionally, if they are not satisfied, the business
runs the danger of losing them.
Within a few years, Nestle introduced several new items. Even if the procedure
takes time, the corporation is trying by launching a new line of products and
focusing on people in metro areas, where the over 55% profit is generated. To
capture the attention of consumers, marketing and advertising campaigns are being
strengthened.
Unlike Food panda or Kodak, Nestle did not remain silent when issues arose.
Under the sage guidance of chairman Narayanan, prompt action was taken,
meetings and debates were held at the headquarters, and the strategies were put
into practice. Within a year of the Maggi ban, Nestle released fresh products and
tried to win back consumers' trust.
Any business's expansion begins with market research and an awareness of market
analytics. Narayanan recognized the highly educated and health-conscious nature
of the growing middle class. As a result of globalization and digitization, they are
also highly informed. To maintain its position, Nestle explored additional options
including curd and coffee makers. Nestle produces food products, thus a
prohibition based on product quality would be detrimental to the brand. Nestle,
though, is putting quality front and centre with a positive outlook.
Recommendation
According to me Nestle is doing very well due to which the company is growing at
a higher pace. But some steps that can be taken by nestle to improve its
performance and employee satisfaction are: -
To help the employees in career growth as well as self-growth which will
motivate them to work more efficiently and effectively.
They should provide a common platform for there customer where they can
lodge there complains and grievances directly.
Customers should also be given an opportunity to connect with the
employees of the organization in case their problem is not solved.
Employees should be highly motivated to work and fulfill the requirements
of the customer which will in turn help the organization to increase sales.
Conclusion
So, from above discussion it is clear that all the companies require a motivated and
well-trained employee in the organization to increase customer satisfaction and
increase sale. Nestle is also doing much for there employees so that there is no
service failure and get less complains from the customer. For a company to
become best, they need motivated employees and satisfied customers and Nestle is
trying to be the best.
