1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. Presentation of the project
Sirius Energy is an operator and investor in storage and distribution of refined products,
incorporated in Mexico, having its headquarter at Blvd. Antonio L. Rodríguez #2100, Piso 21,
Oficina 01, Col. Santa María, C.P. 64650, Monterrey, Nuevo Leó n, México.
Sirius Energy plans to build jetty facilities for offloading products in the area of Tuxpan, Mexico and
the products will be transferred via a buried pipeline to a storage and distribution terminal located
in the area of Tuxpan, Mexico. The terminal will have a capacity of storage of products of 1 650kbl
once completed.
The products will be transferred by road tankers equipped with double tanks from the Tuxpan area
to a terminal located in the province of Hidalgo. The terminal at Hidalgo will have a storage capacity
of 2 450kbl of products once completed.
The products will be loaded and distributed from Hidalgo in road tankers with single tanks as well
as by rail road tankers.

1.2. Purpose of the document

This document deals with the reference numbering system which shall be applied on each sections
of the project for the identification of project’s documents and drawings.
The purpose of a reference numbering system is to have a common identification methodology for
every material, equipment, instrumentation, function, documentation that describes a system or
refers to a drawing, a unit….
This document will be amended and completed in the course of the implementation of the Front
End Engineering Design.

2. RULES FOR NUMBERING OF DOCUMENTS

All documents and drawings references will have the following structure:
PR-PP-DL-DC-NC-NAME where each digit must be interpreted as below:

PR is the number of the project: 1 14 231

2.2. Area number

AN is the area number XX for general documentation and drawing
JT for jetty area
PP for transfer pipeline between jetty to terminal at Tuxpan
TX storage and distribution terminal at Tuxpan

2.5. Document and drawing serial number

NC stands for the serial number of a document when it contains several documents with the same
number
