Hydrotest and Pigging Flowline
SCOPE OF SERVICES
1. INTRODUCTION
PT. Benuo Taka Wailawi (COMPANY) is the operator of Wailawi PSC, located in East
Kalimantan, Indonesia. Company intends to conduct oil and gas production in Wailawi field.
Therefore, Company require pigging and hydrotest services to support production operation.
2. OPERATING AREA
COMPANY’s operating area is at Wailawi PSC in Penajam, Province of East Kalimantan,
Indonesia.

Delivery point :
CONTRACTOR shall be responsible to mobilize their equipment/tools to COMPANY’s
HEAD OFFICE, located at GKM Green Tower, Lt. 7 Unit 703A Jl. TB. Simatupang
Kav. 89G Kebagusan, Jakarta Selatan 12520
CONTRACTOR shall be responsible to mobilize their personnel to COMPANY’s
SITE AREA, located at the Jl. Provinsi Km. 6 Nenang-Station Penajam Paser Utara
Kalimantan Timur 76141
3. SCOPE OF SERVICES
CONTRACTOR will provide Pigging and Hydrotest Services, consisting of Contractor's
Equipment, Contractor’s Personnel, ancillary equipment, instruments, materials, supplies
and consumables. Contractor is to provide pigging and hydrotest services for COMPANY’s
drilling, testing and production operations in Indonesia.:
3.1 Work Method and Sequence
Cleaning using pig material to remove scales or plug from the pipe by being pushed by
air compressor.
Filling water / filling water using medium density bare foam pig to avoid water traps.
Hydro static test is done by increasing the pressure with a pump pressurized and
recorded using an instrument test
Dewatering using medium density bare foam pig for removing the used hydrostatic test
water from the pipeline.
3.2 Procedure
Operations Department shall prepare the Pigging and Hydrotest Operations Procedure
including Job Safety Analysis, ensure that all mitigations completed prior to start of the
operations.
The Operations operators who are going to do the job shall familiar themselves with the
step by step of the procedure, dry Run SOP should be conducted when necessary.
Permit to work shall be submitted to Operations for review and prepare pipeline system
to be ready for pigging.
Ensure means of communications between launcher and receiver operations is
available and reliable.
Ensure the operation of the hydrotest carry out with correct sequence and comply with
Safety, Health and Environmental standard in oil & gas industry.
4. PERSONNEL
CONSTRACTOR shall provide a proven project management system or organization
chart with sufficient managers, supervisors and engineers to perform work.
CONSTRACTOR shall submit all proposed inspector’s resume or CV to COMPANY’s
QA/QC Manager or Superintendent for approval prior to commencing work.
5. EQUIPMENT AND CONSUMABLE
COMPANY shall supply all equipment which are used at site locations for pigging and
hydrotest purposes
6. RESPONSIBILITIES
CONTRACTOR:
Prepare pigging and hydrotest operations and all required tools for the job
Prepare permit to work
Conduct tool box meeting prior to job execution
Generate Daily Report and Activity
COMPANY (Operation Department):
Ensure the Operation SOP for pigging and hydrotest operations is in place
Ensure the incoming flow to the line going to be pigged is isolated
Ensure the piping system depressurized and drained
Ensure all written requirements on the permit work is comply prior to start work
COMPANY (HSE Department):
Ensure the Permit to Work completed prior to start work
Ensure proper PPE is worn
Ensure there are no toxic gases like H2S at the vessel/launcher
Prepare spill kit and fire extinguisher on work location
7. WORK SCHEDULE
Normal working hours at site is 12 (twelve) hours daily. However, it may be necessary to
change these times as required to suit various operations. Therefore, flexible working hours will
be expected from CONTRACTOR’s personnel and will be coordinated by the COMPANY’s
representative. Overtime cost shall not be charged to COMPANY.
8. GENERAL SERVICES
CONTRACTOR shall supply COMPANY all the services described above performed with
following:
CONCTRACTOR must be MIGAS qualified for performing the Services within Indonesia
and for performing inspections related to the oil and gas industry within Indonesia.
CONCTRACTOR shall be responsible for all costs of its inspector’s transportation,
accommodation, meals, laundry and health care to and from all work locations.
Note : COMPANY may offer to provide accommodations and messing for
CONTRACTOR’s personnel at COMPANY worksite location(s) on a case by
case basis depending on availability. In such event, CONTRACTOR will be
advised of the rate applicable to such accommodations, and the rate that would
be charged to CONTRACTOR’s account if BIDDER wishes to make use of such
accommodations and messing.
CONTRACTOR shall provide its 4WD vehicles, maintenance, consumables complete
with fuel to perform the Services.
CONTRACTOR’s personnel shall bring their own personnel gears, such as safety hats,
safety boots, safety goggle, ear protection, rain coat, coverall and safety harness.
Any of CONTRACTOR’s personnel that are removed or replaced due to unsatisfactory
performance, poor health, inability / unwillingness to follow COMPANY’s site regulation,
etc shall be replaced within 15 (fifteen) calendar days. Such removal shall be at the sole
discretion of the COMPANY and the costs related to removal and replacement shall be
borne by CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR shall not replace any of CONTRACTOR’s
operators assigned to the Contract without COMPANY’s prior approval.
