As we grow up, we need to learn how to deal with different kinds of people, abide the

existing rules, and at the same time have some moral standards and values that we need to follow
from day to day. We lived not just for ourselves, but we also need to consider family, friends, and
even those people who are strangers to us. The deeds we do and refrain from doing have an effect
on our communities. We must therefore be able to control our behavior immediately if we want to
avoid injuring ourselves or others in the long run. We commonly refer to this system of limiting
our thoughts and behaviors in order to function in a group as morality.

Growing up in our community, I acquire the sense of responsibility and kindness. There a
are a lot of things that we can do for us to be considered kind and responsible. Yes, it is somehow
hard to be kind especially when people around you are not and being responsible on the other hand
depends on oneself and discipline. Being responsible and being kind go hand in hand. The most
significant contributions are made by those who feel personally responsible for their actions. Many
people are eager to take credit for their contributions. The people who bring about a change are
those who accept responsibility rather than looking for praise. If we adhere to a few norms or
principles, it makes it much easier for everyone to get along in a community. But duty cannot be
replaced by those rules and laws. Simple fixes won't be able to handle complex, overwhelming
problems. Many people will choose to behave properly, and those difficulties will be turned into
chances. When you know your obligations, it will be easy for you to apply the sense of
responsibility. As I grow up, I learned how to be kind to others, especially to the neighbors. When
they needed help and I am able to give assistance, I will go to their house and help them in whatever
they need. I learned also how to become responsible since we live in a subdivision and people
were disciplined with their actions. By simply keeping quiet during late time, and simply abiding
the rules of our community makes me a responsible person. A strong sense of responsibility makes
you accountable for your choices. You are considering the effects of your actions and act with
awareness. When you are aware of every responsibility you have in life, you have reached
maturity.

The moral dilemma that I often encountered in my community is about gossiping.

Unfortunately, rumors and gossip are commonplace in our culture today, affecting every aspect of
life. The individual who is spreading the rumors about you is frequently very insecure and may
even be jealous or envious of you for any reason, which is why it happens. Just like here in our
subdivision our neighbourhood spread rumors that is not even true. That’s why we don't get
involved to them and live a quiet life. Despite the fact that no one likes to be the subject of rumors,
it's crucial to understand that most rumors and talk about you are usually harmless. You should
make every effort to maintain composure and let it rise above you. A person's self-confidence and
self-esteem may be harmed over time by gossip in addition to being embarrassing. This factor may
contribute to the emergence of desperation, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts in some individuals.
Because gossiping denigrates another person, it is not being kind. Second, some locals in our
region are consuming alcohol next to the road or in front of a store, which disrupts their
neighborhood's peace and quiet and causes traffic. Some people even use the karaoke machine in
the middle of the night while disregarding those who are sleeping nearby. Without regard for their
neighbors, they are having fun. Theft, hold-ups, and other crimes are very common in our
neighborhood.
My community significantly contributes to the growth of my moral character; through it, I
learn to accept criticism for whatever I do and to take full responsibility for my acts. I've always
been so trustworthy, and I've never done anything wrong. I've always tried to be fair to everyone
and had the best of intentions. I treasure human life and relationships. The moral standards by
which we determine what is good and bad, right and wrong, and what we ought to and ought not
to do, were communicated to us. They also provide us with information on the respective
importance of various values, which is helpful when deciding which values to support.

I've also seen that persons from different cultural origins have different perspectives on the
subject of morality. People tend to focus on making themselves miserable by doing the wrong
things most of the time. The determination of what is good and undesirable is left up to the
community, just as some wrongs in one society are right in another. Individuals must act morally
only for the sake of society as a whole. Morals, on the other hand, are attributes that we develop
early in life and that teach us what is good and wrong. Morals are important because they provide
a strong foundation for how we should see ourselves and others. One must ask themselves why
they should be good. The fundamental premise of morality is living according to our convictions,
which should lead us to always speak the truth, take responsibility for our actions, treat others with
respect, and exhibit self-control. The current world would be highly dangerous and full of cruelty
in all of its forms if morality had never been. The practices and culture in my community helped
me to become more mindful and respectful of the need for ethics. I also discovered that because
of the culture present, people can develop strong, diverse groups and learn to respect other people's
cultures. Our culture gives us a feeling of our identities and supports the growth of our
personalities. The cultural values that our community or social group upholds provide the
foundation of our sense of social identity.
