Madam:
As part of my function and initiation as teacher, I have thought of an Income Generating Project
entitled, “IGP: Mini-Poultry Business for a Cause”. The proceeds of this IGP will be used to purchase
one (1) unit of printer set which will be of great help in the implementation of Modular Distance Learning
modality that our school adopts and for the culmination activity of the subject Entrepreneurship for senior
high school students. This will be conducted in Amador-Bello National High School for this school year
from April to June 2022 in partnership with Grade 12 Emerald students in Entrepreneurship subject from
Barangay Canjonday, Baleno, Masbate.
In line with this, I would like to ask permission from your good office to allow me to conduct the
aforementioned project.
Thank you for your preferential response on this request.

entrepreneur but will also materialize the provision of one (1) unit of printer set which will be
used for the printing of modules, Learning Activity Sheets (LAS), formative and summative
assessment tools and other important documents for grade-11 and grade-12 students. A printer
set provides an ample of benefits to both teachers and students in managing and conducting
important school affairs thereby making the teaching-learning process both easy and time-and-
cost efficient.
III. Project Objectives

combined four (4) sections of Grade 11 and 12 students.
B. Develop and enhance students’ creativity and their innovative, entrepreneurial and
financial literacy skills.
C. Provide opportunities for learners to experience real-time and real-life business as
students of the subject Entrepreneurship.
IV. Project Description (Brief)
“IGP: MINI-POULTRY BUSINESS FOR A CAUSE” has been conceptualized by the
proponent to help materialize the provision of one (1) unit of printer set which will be a great
help for the printing of modules, Learning Activity Sheets (LAS), formative and summative
assessment tools and other important documents for grade-11 and grade-12 students. It will
feature poultry raising (specifically broiler 45 days chicken) by selected students of the subject
Entrepreneurship. The start up capital is Php. 10,000.00 and the marketable end products of this
mini-poultry business such as live and dressed chicken meat will be sold for Php. 170 per kilo.
This mini-poultry business as an income generating project will be conducted in
Amador-Bello National High School for this school year from April to June 2022 in partnership
with Grade 12 Emerald students in Entrepreneurship subject from Barangay Canjonday, Baleno,
Masbate, where the project site is located.

Figure 1: The process of implementation of the project
A. Pre-Implementation
Having prepared all the necessary documents prior to the IGP implementation,
students will be oriented about the project, the processes to be done, and the key elements
that are to be undertaken for the success of this income generating project. The
orientation proper will be conducted simultaneous with the Orientation Workshop on
Work Immersion, 3Is and Entrepreneurship which is organized by the ABNHS Senior
High School department. A separate session on Mini-poultry business and broiler chicks
raising will be conducted to train the students on the basics of poultry raising and mini
poultry business production management. After their simple training, students will be
divided into groups and will be tasked to devise a simple business plan for their group
implementation. Once the business plan is approved, the groups will proceed to prepare
the project site and purchase broiler chicks to begin with their business IGP. The entire
processes and activities conducted by the group will be closely supervised by the teacher
proponent of said IGP making sure that everything is quality assured and technically
well-managed.
B. During-Implementation
The teacher proponent of this income generating project will make sure that every
member of the core group is delegated with equal tasks and responsibilities so that their
entrepreneurial skills and other competencies will be tapped and utilized for the success
of the project. With this arrangement, there will be a rotational schedule for every group
member for tasks like cleaning, feeding and other errands like buying feeds, vitamins and
other essentials. A regular visit to the project site on weekly basis will also be done by
the teacher proponent to ensure a smooth flow of business management and operations.
After the first 45 days of operation, the first wave of harvesting and marketing
will be conducted. Members of the group will experience first hand selling and marketing
of live or dressed chicken which will be closely monitored and supervised by the teacher
proponent. The details of sales and income will be reflected in an inventory form for
accounting and evaluating of business the financial status. While the first wave of
harvesting and marketing is taking place, the group will prepare for the second wave
(batch) of 45 days chicks to be raised in the remaining succeeding months. The core
group will also prepare for the conduct of Division IGP monitoring wherein personnel
from the Division Office in charge of income generating projects will inspect and
validate the implementation of this IGP. The same operations and processes will be
observed. Best Practices and other efforts to improve previous technical operations will
be harnessed to promote continuous improvement of business practices.
C. Post-Implementation
After two successful waves of 45 days chicken raising and marketing, the
teacher proponent will gather the sales and income report of the group and prepare the
financial report of the income and the expenditures on the funds acquired from the
project. The details of the total projected income statement is included in the Project
Operational Description of this project proposal. When all has been accounted for and the
net income for the project is determined, the teacher proponent will prepare for the
purchasing of the proposed project for this IGP which is one (1) unit of printer which will
be used for printing and other related uses. After purchasing, it will be turned over to the
school for Inventory of custodianship in preparation for its educational use for the School
Year 2022-2023.
