SUBJECT : Reiteration on Updating of Contact Tracing Monitoring in


PNPCODA

DATE : August 12, 2021

1. References:
a. Memorandum from TDPRM dated August 11, 2021 with subject same
as above; and

b. Memorandum from OIC, ORPRMD dated August 11, 2021 with same
subject as above.
2. This pertains to the contact tracing monitoring incorporated in PNPCODA
that commenced together with the implementation of daily online COVID-19 self-
assessment on June 21, 2021 which serves as the central repository of data
pertaining to close contacts of all PNP personnel with confirmed COVID-19 case and
to further evaluate and monitor the contact tracing reports of all PNP Units. Following
the confirmation of the DOH on the local transmission of highly transmissible Delta
variant in the country, intensified contact tracing shall be implemented to prevent
onward transmission of the virus.

3. Please be informed that the following have been observed since this was
launched in the PNPCODA last June 21, 2021.
a. Some units failed to updated their contact tracing monitoring in
PNPCODA; and

b. Some COVID-19 positive personnel have no declared close contacts


especially those personnel assigned in PROs and NSUs which is unrealistic
considering the nature of their work as frontliners.

4. In this regard, all Unit Admin are directed to update and monitor the contact
tracing monitoring of your respective units in PNPCODA as replacement to the
weekly contact tracing monitoring report being submitted every Monday to this
Directorate. Such reports in the PNPCODA will be generated and forwarded to
ASCOTF/RASCOTF and authorized individuals or offices that will request for the
same.
5. Submit to this Office your action taken through email address
[email protected] NLT 3:00PM of August 12, 2021.
