3. To construct sentences using the pronouns.

B. Review For our previous lesson, we discuss


about the NOUN.

NOUN - It refers to a thing, a


person, a place, an animal, an
idea, or an action.

Examples: Maria, Angono, Dog

C. Motivation Directions: Identify the pronouns in each


item. Write your answer in a clear
blank sheet of paper.

1. They are good at playing online


games.
2. Everybody is happy.
3. You are invited to my birthday party.
4. She asked me to pass my tasks at
exactly 9 PM.
5. He is so good at playing basketball.

D. Presentation For our lesson today, we are going to


discuss about the PRONOUNS.

As we can notice, instead of using


specific names or put all of their names,
we used pronouns.

Pronouns is word or a group of word that


we used to substitute a noun or noun
phrase in a sentence.

For example, ‘Nathan is good at playing


soccer’ the word Nathan is a name or
noun, instead of using noun we are going
to change it using the pronoun. Nathan is
a noun and the pronoun for him is ‘HE’.

Noun phrase: Nathan is good at


playing soccer

Pronoun phrase: He is good at


playing soccer

E. Application For our application, I am going to divide


you into two groups. Each group will be
given a task.

Group 1 - Make sentences using


pronouns.

Group 2: Make an illustration


that illustrates what pronoun is.

You will have 10 minutes to finish the


task and after 10 minutes, each group
shall have 2 representatives to report it.

F. Generalization As we summarize our lesson

The pronouns, it is way to substitute the


nouns or noun phrase in a sentence.
Some examples of it are He, she, her,
him, I, myself, themselves

IV. Evaluation
Direction: Identify what pronoun that can take the place of the underlined
word/words. Write your answer in your notebook.

1. Jerico enjoy baking cookies.


2. Isabella and Maribela have powers.
3. Irish went to the park. Irish walked into the vendors.
4. Ria loves to talk with Irish.
5. Jane will report in this subject.

V. Assignment
Direction: Look for at least 20 noun phrases in the internet. Once you are
done, identify and encircle the nouns that used in the sentences. After
identifying, make sentences in each pronoun that you identify.
