Advantages and Disadvantages of Rigid Pavement

Rigid pavement has several advantages: it provides a smooth surface, requires little maintenance, and has a long lifespan. However, it also has disadvantages: the initial installation is expensive, it can develop faults at joints, and it requires frequent joint maintenance. It is also susceptible to cracking and warping from temperature changes.
