Emcee Script

CALL OF ORDER: Everybody please pay attention! The program is about to start. Kindly locate your
seats and be seated. Let us not cause any commotion or too much noise. Together, let us maintain the
orderliness and cleanliness of this place for you to enjoy a very memorable promenade. Thank you so
much for your cooperation.

Ryan: Juniors and Seniors prom is one of the most memorable and exciting event of a high school
student. Ladies and gentlemen good afternoon, let’s welcome our host for this event. Mr. Mark
Anthony M. Abian and Ms. Cindy P. Viernes as they march in the red carpet. Around of applause
please.

Mark: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Northern Isabela Academy Inc. It is an
honor and privilege that you grace our momentous occasion today.

Cindy: Absolutely sir. today, is a spectacular day to remember.

Mark: and the most awaited one.

Cindy: All the promenaders seemed so beautiful and handsome.

Mark: Youre correct maam. And you are so stunning and beautiful as well.

Cindy: Thank you sir! You too are handsome as the gentlemen.

PROGRAM PROPER

Cindy: w/o further ado ladies and gentlemen may we now formally start the program.

Mark: High school life is a roller coaster ride. It is a period of exploring the unknown, a time of shaping
one’s true identity and the stage of building bonds and friendship.

Cindy: This afternoon another milestone is about to untold in your life as you take part in one of the
most waited moment in high school,

Both: the Northern Isabela Academy Juniors and Seniors Promenade.

Mark: This must be another once-upon-a-time in the storybook of our dearest Alma Mater wherein we
bring reality to our every dream.

Both: Let our fancies fill the magical wonders of our hearts!
I. GRAND MARCH
Cindy: Once again, we welcome you all to the 2019 Juniors and Seniors Prom of Northern Isabela
Academy. At this point, Let’s give bow and curtsy as we have the entrance and marching of the Juniors
and Seniors Promenaders.

Mark: Ladies and gentlemen, first to march is the Juniors promenaders let’s start with the first pair.

Cindy: Let’s give a grand grand hand to our beautiful and handsome promenaders.

Mark: Behind the success of graduates are the guidance of the brilliant faculty and administrative
staff of Northern Isabela Academy Inc. Let us give a grand hand to the pillars of this institution, the
faculty and staff of NIA. Around of applause to your teachers and mentors!
II./III. INVOCATION AND SINGING OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM
Cindy: And to formally commence this event. Let’s feel a few moments of solemnity for an
invocation to be led by Bro. Julius Macalinao.

Mark: Please remain standing and imbibe among ourselves the virtue of nationalism and patriotism
through the singing of the National Anthem to be conducted by Maam Shryll Lintao.

IV. OFFERING OF CORSAGE AND LEI


Cindy: At this moment is the offering of corsage and lei. Ancient Hawaiian customs have faded from
memory, the tradition of corsage and lei giving. A corsage and lei symbolize love, friendship
celebration, honor and greetings. Ladies and gentlemen, let witness the offering of corsage and lei
of the promenaders.

Mark: Ladies please offer now the corsage to the gentlemen and gentlemen offer now the lei to the
ladies.

Cindy: Thank you so much promenaders. Please find now your respective tables and you may now
take your seats.

V. WELCOME REMARKS
Mark: This occasion will not be complete without someone who welcomes the Guests and Attendees of
such, to finally make a point Ladies and Gentlemen, we now call in Mr. Bryan Jacob Marquez, CYM President
for his WELCOME ADDRESS.

Cindy: Thank you Jacob for those heart-warming words of welcome which added balance to the
lightness of the present atmosphere.

VI. INTERMISSION NUMBER


Mark: To entertain us for a moment, Ms. Lovely Yanos, a grade 7 Honesty student will render to us
a song.

VII/VIII. INTRODUCTION / SPEECH OF THE GUEST SPEAKER


Cindy: What a lovely voice. Thank you so much Miss Yanos for that wonderful performance. At this
juncture, let’s welcome Maam Angelika Tangonan to introduce our guest of honor.

IX. AWARDING OF CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION TO THE GUEST SPEAKER


Mark: Thank you maam Abigail for that hearfelt and inspiring words to us. May your words of
wisdom be our moving spirit as we enjoy the days here in NIA. At this moment, shall we now award
the certificate of appreciation to our guest of honor. Let me read the content…… May we request
maam Abigail to come here in the middle to receive the certificate of appreciation, a simple token
and a love gift. And the administrators as well, to do the honor.

X. DANCE WITH THE PARENTS


Cindy: Mitch Albom once said, “When you look into your parents’ eyes, you know that is the purest
love you can find on this earth.” Sa pagkakataong ito, binibigyan namin ng oras ang mga
promenaders na akayin niyo ang inyong mga magulang or guardian sa gitna at bibigyan namin kayo
ng pagkakataong isayaw ang inyong mga magulang. Ito na ang oras na kayo’y magpasalamat sa
inyong mga magulang sa kanilang mga sakripisyo at pagmamahal.

XI. INTERMISSION NUMBER


Mark: To give us another intermission number. May I call in Ms. Jezzah Mae Bagcal and Ms. Aezel
Kate Balete Grade 10 students to serenade every one of us.

Cindy: Thank you Ms. Jezzah and Ms. Aezel for that melodious song rendition. Ito na ang
inaabangan ng lahat partner.

XII. COTILLION DANCE


Mark: You are right maam Cindy, the moment we have been craving for has finally come! The
dance of the Juniors and the Seniors wherein they have turned to young adolescent full of love and
commitment!

Cindy: I absolutely agree with you Sir Mark… I believe, “Love is a dance step that never goes out of
style; sometimes you stumble, and sometimes you hurt your partner, but oftentimes, you learn to
survive.”

Mark: Fasten your seatbelts everyone! As we highlight the dance floor with the gracious moves of
the selected Juniors and Seniors promenaders. Presenting a choreographed danced that they have
practiced to perfection. Ladies and Gentlemen a huge warm of applause, the Cotillion De Honor.

Cindy: Ladies and gentlemen, around of applause to our cotillion dancers. What a nice and great
performance. Please allow us to introduce the dancers of the royal court.

Mark: Behind the success of this cotillion dance is Mr. Christian D. Bumagat for his unselfish and
untiring efforts in training our cotillion dancers. To express our gratefulness to him, allow us to
award a certificate of appreciation and a love gift to our very brilliant and talented dance
instructor, Mr. Christian D. Bumagat. May I ask Christian to come up here in the stage to receive
the certificate and the love gift. Thank so much for your unending support to your alma mater!

XIII. INTERMISSION NUMBER


Cindy: Another intermission number will be given to us by our selected students.
Mark: wow, what an entertaining performance.
XIV. CANDLE LIGHTING
Cindy: Finally, may we have now the symbolic passing of candle of guidance. This will be performed
by the Juniors and Seniors promenaders.

Cindy: at this point, May I call in the ever dynamic and supportive principal Maam Elizabeth

Mark: Another achievement has been fulfilled today. I would like to say thank you to all our guests
