Definition of a Thesis
Thesis in this slides refers to a documented report of the
process followed and the results of original research
conducted by a student in fulfillment of the requirements
for a graduate degree.

The term thesis used throughout this slides refers to


bachelor and master’s theses as degree project report.

Organization of the Thesis


A thesis is made up of three main parts namely
preliminary pages, text and references. These are
arranged as in Table 1.1.
