SAFETY NOTES

• Complete required Permit-To-Work (PTW).


• Lockout / Tag-out Permit required.
• Review / Complete Job-Safety-Analysis (JSA).
• Inform Area authority if work is carried out on critical equipment for ongoing
operation.
• Do not wear jewellery when working around rotating machinery.
• Wear all proper safety equipment.

JOB PLAN INSTRUCTION

1 Blow out machine with clean dry air. (70 PSI)

2 Ensure cooling fan blades are clean and free of dirt build up.

3 Ensure all air inlet and outlet vents are clean.

4 Ensure all PCB’s are securely mounted and connections are tight.

5 Check all main cable connections.

6 Check remote current control operates correctly.

7 Check for full current control through the unit rheostat.

8 Check the welding machine welding lead outlets for damage, tightness and cleanliness.

9 Ensure all mounting bolts are tight and the machine is secure.

10 Check all remote welding sockets for tightness and corrosion.

11 Check all welding leads for damage and faulty connections.
